    My FFF Mod

Ive seen a couple of these sell recently on the Sales Forum so thought I'd show the version with Yobokies Lumed Bezel Insert.

I bought this sometime ago (Jan this year I think) and it has become one of my favourite watches. Just shows that you don't have to spend thousands to enjoy this hobby!!

This has the Charcoal (although looks black most of the time) Sunburst, with applied markers. IMO this is the best Mod dial out there for the FFF. What sets this one apart from the 2 I had previously (and flipped) is that this also has the Yobokies Lumed Bezel. It transforms the watch for me. In daylight it is so much more subtle than the silvered standard insert, and at night...

I hasten to add that these are Not my pics, but were done by the previous owner "Shinzomaeda"

Looks fantastic, I got a pvd version but had to send it back so instead I have ordered two unmodded watches, in steel and pvd, two dials and two lumed bezels and as soon as I have all the components, I will be getting them sorted, BP on a budget or what !!

These FFF mods can be very nice, I also agree the charcoal brushed dial is the nicest variant.

Here's mine with Blancpainesque hands fitted on a brady sailcloth with brushed deployant clasp.

Link to the post about creating mine : http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...y-Five-Fathoms

Mine has the BP-like hands and Bezel.

Lovely looking watch, but I wish Seiko had put a windable mechanism in the 5... I hardly ever wear mine. :(

Love the BP FF which I tried on recently in Dubai. Anyone have photos of the side of the case of a FFF please?

    Red,
    that looks very nice indeed.

Question for you please: what is the original watch you used?

You're absolutely right - not necessary spend a small fortune to enjoy a lovely looking watch (in my eyes at least )
I am enjoying this a lot- just took delivery from Rob and am very pleased with his 'conversion' - lovely finish !
    Cheers, Peter
