Not a lot
Oris Air Racing III. Limited edition - 1000 examples. 42mm DLC case. 1500 Swiss francs.
Err, yes actually. Price seems a bit steep though.
have to say no
I do not like your stripey hands. I do not like them, Sam-I-Am...
It would look much better without those stripes..
It's a watch i like, but that wrecks it for me.

marchingontogether!
I guess the design is a nod to air racing pylons, which are striped red and white.
Would be a nice watch without the silly stripes.

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Its a good looking watch, unfortunately spoilt by the striped hand. Shame.
Why do that to a nice watch.
i like it all except the hand.
Im going to join the landslide and say attractive watch ruined by that stripey hand.
Shame.
The Oris would eventually get on my nerves I think.
This won't:
Although I'll have mine on black leather with yellow stitching please.
The huge case/tiny movement syndrome is way too obvious on that one. Horrible.
I prefer jazz hands like on the Oris Miles Davis
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Makes the watch face stand out more, not really to my liking though
I think more likely they took the design element from the barbers-pole of an ASI:
I'm not against watches taking inspiration from flightdeck instruments, but when it's taken too far it looks daft IMO. That would have looked a lot nicer without the stripes.

I like them more, as a GMT hand.
I'll declare that I'm out. Think I'll wait for the Smiths Seafire. That looks like a much better bet.
Perhaps if it was on the sweep hand, and it didn't have 'air racing' on it- which looks dopey. Its not like your average customer would only wear it when 'air racing' Im guessing.
Blegh! Not for me, thank you!
Not keen on that at all.
Maybe something more subtle and not diagonal would be acceptable for me.
Yes, given it is a a "tool watch". If you want the eye drawn to that hand, that will do it.
Best wishes,
Bob
Why not, when he's done Mastering Speed or Plonging Professionelly? ;)
Anyway, free pass for Omega (of course) on the bumblebee second hand of its new antimagnetic Aqua Terra. Which I quite like as it happens, as it gives it some personality. This splash of colour on the Oris is fun as well, although for me the first association is "barber shop", not "aviation".
Anyway, Junkers got there first. Different hand admittedly:
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
No not for me
I agree, the Junkers looks nicer than the Oris. I'd certainly buy and wear the Junkers if the price was reasonable.
I think the "Bumble Bee(?)" stripe second hand of the one Wexford shows above looks a lot better than the "candy cane" types, but still not one for me personally (I always much prefer simple, vintage, and classic)
