POLICE are appealing for information on a valuable watch stolen from Winchester last month.
The men’s gold Omega watch, which has a leather strap, was taken while the victim was moving house from Twyford to Shawford.
It is believed to be around 60 years old and is of great sentimental value to the owner, who inherited it from his grandfather.
Anyone who has been offered a similar watch for sale or who has information on the incident should contact PC Annelisa Cass at Winchester Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

If it was stolen during a house move, there must be some obvious suspects.
OP, do you know the victim or was this plucked from the local paper?
