I posted a pic of Mia as a puppy earlier in this thread

Roll on a couple of years and we have a very energetic (and loving) 2 year old Border Collie

    Cheers

After our last dog , Ellie, a golden retriever, took her final trip to the vet at the of age 17, I said we should wait at least 6 months before getting another - and that should be a GR as well.

Suffice to say, within 3 weeks we had a Border Collie. Clearly I am not master of stiglet towers.

That having been said, Mia is a star and I wouldn't part with her

    JP

We adopted this guy 9 months ago and what an absolute joy he is. Many racing greyhounds have a fairly tough start to life, and so when they do find their home as a pet they seem to blossom as they decompress. They’re goofy, warm, loving and very very funny. Wouldn’t be without him now :)

Love a grey - such chill dudes, so laid-back, and engagingly derpy. Got to be one of the easiest dogs to own. Yours looks a lovely lad

He’s a cracker Earl. All of the things you lists and a few more. Everyone down our road loves him - honestly he almost gets more treats out on his walks than he can handle!

    They are a constant feature!
The black coat seems to make them MUCH more obvious than on my Goldies.

He's doing his best to propagate grass. Such a green thumb.

She-who-owns-the-cats in our household says "no". That's off the table then. I would love a black and tan dachshund. That would make a good combo with my Rottweiler. In all fairness: my wife also said 'no' to a third Maine Coon. A black female kitten named Wednesday...

At the same time: I had a quick conversation with a couple living a half mile away. They walked a dog: a female terrier rescue dog. The nicest one. White with a black patch around one eye and a pink nose. Absolutely adorable. And she's very friendly as well. I'll take a pic asap and ask how a nice dog like she ends up in a shelter!
