The one in the middle is destined to become a member of our household. The name on the official pedigree papers (is that the term in English?) is Presley.

We agreed on Elvis in daily life.

I've only had one dog in my 73 years...this is Bosco, a brown miniature poodle. He was fiercely territorial! Here are Bosco and me when he was still a puppy in December 1974 and living in Minnesota.

The one with the pale-yellow necklace, busy molesting his brother/sister(?) is ours-to-be in 6 weeks time.

8 weeks is great as it leaves the puppy enough time to learn about socialising with his siblings. They, and the mother, will save you a lot of work!

Make sure you take him regularly to the beach for a swim, and every thing else you will want to do with him, before he turns 6 months old, as much of the new experiences after that age will be considered with suspicion and possibly disliked.

Rottweilers are such good looking dogs!
My MIL had one many years ago, dumb as a breeze block, but utterly loving and such a gentle soul. My favourite of all her many dogs.

Handsome looking boy, colouring on his ears reminds me of our old spaniel Barley, still missed.

    On holiday

And with brother Jasper when they were pups.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

^^^this^^^. That's why we introduce a kitten in the same week (Maine Coon X Norwegian Forest Cat). So that they can grow up together. Like human brothers/sister in IRL, it will have its ups and downs.

Brave dog! He looks very different with his wet ‘coat’

My wife is busy ordering a ton of dog goodies and equipment, including a large bench suited for a Rottweiler. Our dogs is due to arrive here in 4 or 5 weeks time.

I love Rottweilers, often meet a couple on my regular walk, so friendly and playfully. You're going to have a great time with that little bundle of joy😁

You're right about Loki looking different with his wet coat on:

You're right, I was fortunate today there wasn't much mud, but both of them did find themselves a suitable huge fox sh1t to roll in! FFS.

We’ve just returned from a visit.
7 pups crawling all over us in a large bench. Very seasoned breeder/Rottweiler owner. The one he’d picked for us was also the one that came up to us and played with me, my wife and my youngest.
