I'm knackered, he sleeps at very odd times at the moment, though have got to 5.15am this morning. After sales corner & watch talk this is the thread i always come back to, smiles on every page with a bit of heartache every now and then. This little feller Alf is a character.

You are. I’ve heard of people being quoted £4K. It’s lockdown greed.

Great pics. The Alcatraz bench is a great detail. (I should have posted the Alcatraz Rule #5 on my boys' bedroom doors when they were in their 'difficult period').

Looks bizarre to me. Near £1900 for a golden retriever. Used to buy those for about £350 back in the 1990`s in south wales.

They were never an expensive dog and as I found out the hard way prone to cancer in my bitter experience

    He does this a lot

Getting on a bit, Arthritis in both hips and a couple of vertebra fused with it but he's in for the long haul. Cavalier/Springer cross, we think.

Trip to the vet today. Sore paw, still not sure what caused it but he’s on the mend.

Mable saw the groomer for the first time since before lockdown, can’t say I’m impressed... I have no idea what they were thinking.

She doesn’t even look my dog!

    Usual, pre lockdown

    My attempt, mid lockdown

Dobbies ugly sister that came back from the groomer, post(ish) lockdown.

    She does not look happy.

What is strange is that she is spending a lot of time looking at herself on the hallway mirror, I’m not sure that she likes the look of what is staring back at her.

At least it will grow back and give me time to find another groomer!

We have 2 Cockapoo’s and they come back looking for exactly like this every time. The groomer is the only one that will do them both without complaining (they can be a handful) but good god she makes them look shitty! Dobbie is exactly what I call them!

My 13 year old (very grey) greyhound, Sami. A grand old girl, hard as nails.

And my dog son, Max, who does in fact have legs. Absolute ponce.

Totally different from the EBT I spotted this morning with running along with its owner who was quietly cycling. A happy dog who new what was coming! They went to the forest and when they returned, the owner took a foldable bucket and a bottle of water from his rucksack, unfolded the bucket and poured the water into it. The bull terrier obviously knew what was the plan here. Just sitting quietly on the street waiting for its owner to give him the water. Totally refreshed before they went on the trip from the forest back home. A brilliant dog-and-owner scene!

The EBT was on a dog runner. A graphic YT video (in German):

I love English Bulls, almost a permanent grin. We very nearly rescued one two weeks ago. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 I have been away from home since January and still no date to return. My wife was all for it but then accepted the fact that it would be unfair to our other two, couple with me not being home too. A lucky stroke that she was adopted by another couple who have had bullies previously.

My two. Zak and Jet aka ASBO & Thug

ASBO decided to chase flies and managed to do this to the curtain!

    I won't.
