My old great dane Duke with his favourite toy ostrich (the only toy he never destroyed)

Andrews latest picture he has drawn
This is 'Toby', an English Springer Spaniel. He was drawn to fit a 16"x12" frame using a beautiful photo of him and his tennis ball.
Sonyman, that picture of Toby is incredible work.
Cheers,
Neil.
I think Alfie has more or less destroyed every toy we have ever bought him. However, a couple of soft toys he inherited from our previous dog have remained strangely intact.
I got a mate to do an oil painting of Maisy..
Hi Jeppe,
Sorry for the delay in responding! Thanks, it's a Canon 600D, but I'm using a 10-22mm lens with an f/8 aperture which gives a big depth of field... Click through the picture to my Flickr account where all the info, camera, lens, settings etc is shown for all the pics...
Cheers mate,
Rob
We have been to see the puppies today and taken a few pics, They are now 6 weeks old and doing really well. Just 2 more weeks before we can bring one home. Obviously we left Alfie at home whilst we went to visit. He was more than a little interested in the smells of 10 puppies and 5 adult Vizsla`s when we got back!
When the puppies were tired they were put away with their mum and the breeders other dogs were let out to see us - what a beautiful sight
Amber is simply lovely.I have experienced your anxiety to bring your puppy home when we had Bailee last year. Her mum is being breed again this weekend and due to circumstances we may be looking after the litter should she fall pregnant .
We have 2 dogs for exhibit in our house..
Our first was abandoned in a litter of 4 puppies and we think she is terrier dachshund cross, her name is monkey and she was the runt of the litter, a highly capable food thief..she is 6 now
The second we got at 9 months old he was chucked out by a student who didn't want him anymore as he was too big for her handbag, someone paid nearly 500 quid for him originally and we got the receipt lol.. A pedigree x breed between a miniature jack Russell and a chihuahua.. Loyal little thing, diagnosed with a. Heart murmur this year, growls like a grizzly bear and you need earplugs when he gets wound up, hoped he would have calmed down by 5
I love dogs but I don`t know if I could cope with a litter; although my wife has already asked if I think we should breed from Amber !!
How many puppies would you expect? Alfie was one of 11 and Amber is one of 12, although only 10 survived in both litters.
I`m looking forward to Alfie meeting Amber - I`m unbelievably confident that Alfie will be brilliant with the pup but I am also sure there will be a few "moments"
We are ''allowed'' to dogsit this little gem when we are in the UK, she's an absolute charmer - never heard of 'Cockapoo' earlier !
Poodle brain and working Cocker agility - perfect blend, she keeps our Golden fit !
BTW, if anyone has arthtritis problems with their pooches, contact the vet in London who has developed his own cure and it works wonders.
Google 'DS Mobilise' - contains glucosesamine - we now give our 11 year old Golden 2 pills a week after the initial dose, and she is as fit as she was 5 years ago !

My little girl!
Is that a normal size tennis ball or a larger one?
One of our two delinquents.
Meet Sasha, who arrived with us 5 months ago as a rescue dog.
Our existing dog Jess was the surviving member of our doggie household, but since she lost her pals had become very insecure and was exhibiting classic ‘pining’, so we decided to get another cocker to keep her company.
Sasha is age unknown, but we reckon about nine years old and was rescued late last year. We were warned that she had ‘issues’, but we’ve had rescued dogs before so decided to take her on anyway. The first few weeks were somewhat challenging, but she’s settled down now and her character has started to shine through. The beach has lost it’s terror for Sasha and she is far more accepting of strangers - even of men with sticks, which was a big issue for her :-(

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
I make many mistakes. Starting this thread is the exception, thanks guys for all the great contributions. Keep em coming.
We collected little Amy 2 weeks ago and things are just about getting back to normal. We were going to call her Amber but she became Amy on Day 2
As expected, Alfie has been brilliant with Amy from Day 1 - only getting angry when trying to sleep. Plenty of play fights, baring of teeth and chasing with a little bit of sleep thrown in.
Anyway a few pics to start with with plenty more to follow over the forthcoming weeks!
Fantastic, was wondering how she is settling in so thanks for the update!
