6 weeks old, collecting early June.... can't wait !!
And after losing our last Golden 'Mollie' 1 year ago, just about ready to get another heartbeat into the house
And, after 4 Goldens, a doggie that barely sheds anything
Cheers, Peter

Lovely puppy. What breed is he? (I struggle to recognise puppies in general, just like I have never been able to find ANY similarities between a baby and either of the parents. Except, with the babies I have learnt to say nothing ).

Now 'at home' - 12 weeks yesterday, 2nd inj. tomorrow, and Saturday she can 'socialise' with other doggies - amazingly quick to learn :-)
'She' (Freya = Norse myth. Goddess) - is a miniature Golden Doodle, 50/50 Golden Retriever/Miniature Poodle (important have some 'Golden' genes !)
Have to expect 'hair doos' 2-3 times / year - but they are non allergenic, non malting which is excellent.
Still not sure what size she will grow to, probably cocker ?
Cheers, Peter

My 2 below...
We recently lost our boxer Frank, he had a raft of health problems that finally got the better of him, Mabel is our little cockapoo, who in fairness has adjusted to life without her best mate incredibly well.
Frank was the sweetest dog, loved a cuddle and had the ability to sleep literally anywhere!

He's a 3-year old Samoyed and as mad as a box of frogs. I love him to bits.
Doing her best Garbo 'I want to be left alone' look.
A couple of recent pics of Dot.
She decided to cram herself in between the fireplace and wall recently, possibly something to do with the proximity of the Grandson's toy box ...
She loves sunbathing so had to get on the top of here armchair to catch some rays this morning!
Cheers,
Neil.
Brilliant as always, Neil! Where did she stay when you were at your son's?
Earlier this morning I took my bike to go to the gym (bank holiday Monday over here). I passed a man and a woman with an old, slow English bulldog. I recognised the dog: many years ago, when the boys were smaller, we used to pass that street on our way (bike route) to the football grounds nearby. Back then it was a healthy, lively and enthusiastic dog. It's sad to see them so old.

Brilliant pics of those dogs. I clicked on your Flickr account and you are a very talented photographer! What a stunning (wildlife) pics. My opinion: award-winning material!
Menno
They are stunning. We had a Bordeaux - Rottie cross, by far the greatest dog I’ve ever had. He weighed in at 56kg in his prime, Super intelligent and such a lovely temperament, the kids were 7 when when we got him and 17 when he passed away... no better dog for children IMHO

Cheers Menno, Dot stayed at home when we were away, cared for by my youngest son and his girlfriend. I couldn't put one of my dogs in kennels.
In fact my son's gf loves Dot so much she often takes her out over the fields on her own.
Here's a pic she took yesterday on a lovely sunny day...
Cheers,
Neil.
It's good to read that you've 'converted' another soul! EBT owners know how lovely these dogs are. Others only see an ugly head, ferocious look, big teeth and 'death on paws'.
On a Dutch site, there's a video of a guy walking with a staffy. Nicely lined, perfectly under control. The owner wears a bodycam. (Result of previous encounters with dogs). From the opposite side of the road, a woman approaches with a yapping dog. Not on a leash. The small dog starts yapping at the staffy. That dog doesn't even blink. The staffy's owner addresses the woman to get her dog under control. She doesn't react. The small dog tries to attack the staffy. Big mistake! The staffy's owner pulls back his dog. Just in time and manages to calm his dog. Again, the small dog snaps at the staffy! The staffy doesn't react, only get really calm... (we all know the staf's next move if not controlled). The staffy's owner urges the woman to control her dog, making sure that his dog doesn't rush forward for a killing attack. He keeps the dog under control. Nothing happens on the 'staffy side'. She starts shouting that his dog is a danger, a menace. Only then she steps forward to pick up her pooch. Yelling and cursing at the staffy's owner about 'dangerous dog - has to be put down!' Totally ignoring that the staffy didn't attack the small pooch.
The owner is now nozzle-training his staffy. Just in case and to prevent that his dog is put down for biting...

I'm afraid that is a situation that is all too common Menno.
Had a similar event years ago when my previous EBT Deana half swallowed a tiny Jack Russel which was intent on attack which its owner had allowed to run loose.
Dot is always on a lead when out. My eldest son has a Neapolitan Mastiff which he muzzles when out as he has had so many smaller dogs annoying her, again, always off the lead and out of control.
Cheers,
Neil.
My lab Luna is nearly 18 months now. Lovely dog with a great temperament and very good at making sure I don't spend glorious evenings like tonight in front of the telly.
