He's a 7 year old English Bull Terrier, mad as a box of frogs, but the Mrs won't have a bad word said about him!

    Thanks Tone!

As I've told previously in this thread, my wife used to own a bull terrier for years. Sadly, the dog passed away a few years ago. It was really my wife's dog (she already owned the dog when I met her). Your pic of your wife (I presume) with Wilf made her emotionally for a moment. It remembered her of hours and hours in the back garden, basking in the sun with the bull at her side. For that pic, on her behalf, thank you for posting it!

Menno, I've had a mixed bag of dogs over the years, Rotts, Dobe, Bulldogs and a Lab, all could be categorized under the heading 'dogs' then you have the EBT in a league of their own*

*Might I add as I type he's just had a bollocking for eating the insole out of a pair of the Mrs' shoes.

As most people here know I love Bull Terriers and have recently got another bitch.

In fact her nickname is Queen Bitch after the David Bowie song.

Partially by the way she comports herself!

They are the world's worst dogs to train and never grow out of their "characterful" behaviour.

Nice to see another EBT around here.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Just showed Wilf to my Mrs.

She loved this pic and reminded her of sunny days with our previous little darling, Deana.

    Thanks for posting it Tone.

    Cheers,

Alright Neil.C, just spent an eventful if not emotional 20 minutes going through this thread. My Mrs who'd not been emotionally attached to dogs before she met me, has just commented on, we need to go home now, Wilf will be waiting!

Yeah I remember similar situations... On top of that, my wife's EBT had issues with other dogs...

I'm going to give this one a working title of "Hounds & Crowns". Meet Snake (aka Deersleep Crisp & Even - born on Christmas Eve 2010) one of my two miniature dachshunds, posing with another of my "babies of German heritage"

    Here's Dottie!

Took a few pics indoors today. Not great but shows she is turning into our little baby from the vicious devil we inherited.

Still has just the right amount of meanness though!

BTW That long haired freak is my youngest son.

    Cheers,
    Neil.

My wee pooch came to see if I was ok today after a fall on my bike at the weekend, so sweet. Would never have though we were beagle people but can't imagine life without one now.

Ah, she looks like butter wouldn't melt

My boy turned 7 this year and he's only just calmed down, he still has his over excited moments though, bouncing off walls and the furniture!

Quality is fantastic, although it's not particularly soft, so she has a cushion on top of it. She likes it because it gives her a higher vantage point from which to keep an eye on everyone ;)

This is the small, it's from sofa.com

We also have a 'no dogs on the furniture' policy, which our dogs treat with the same respect.....
Strangely ours only sit on the sofa when we are on it too, otherwise they aren't interested and stay on the floor.

    Very amusing photo!
Its like they have just had an argument and are now sulking with each other.

:) they're actually best buddies. the youngster Rye on the left loves Oskar on the right.

I gave up trying to keep them off furniture years ago. They're part of the 'family' and with plenty of throws on the sofa, the mess is kept to a minimum :)

We did the same. Although we came down this minting to find she'd peed on the blanket and it had gone through to the nice new sofa

Haha typical.... if she does this i have to put kitchen roll on the wee then place a heavy book on top seems to soak it up without leaving a stain
mind you, we both have to sit on the floor for a couple of hours unless you want the hardback Windows 8 for Dummies book stuck up your a***
(meanwhile the Dog goes and lies in her other bed !!)

Covering the stain with soda water works brilliantly, also on dog poo, vomit, red wine etc., etc.

My wife decided to clear out an old pushchair we had until Dot decided to take it over.

After a lot of effort she managed to squeeze her way into it!

No, pour it on fairly liberally, let if fizz to lift the stain, solids whatever to the surface. Lift this first layer off with kitchen towel.

And repeat. Can be pretty consuming of towel and soda, but it works - once our three came back from kennels with the squits, and whilst I wouldn't eat me dinner off the hall carpet, it was remarkably effective. Excellent on spilled red wine too (our terriers get pissed on Tesco Sicilian Red on Fridays).

When not helping wrap presents at all becomes too much:

Christmas tree goes up this weekend. I reckon she'll have it over in under 15mins.
