This is slightly bitter sweet as his arrival means that my parents can no longer cope with the little rascal. Yesterday he had his first flight(s) and today was his first ride on a bus and in a lift.
Meet Sam.
We've never really understood what he is; I've always thought he had a bit of Irish Terrier in him but my latest research makes me think more Australian Terrier.
And I can recommend Lufthansa if you need to fly with a dog.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
I was out with the hounds this afternoon for a couple of hours in a very soggy Hampshire .
They have been quiet all afternoon dozing by the side of me on their sofa, but can i detect the distinctive aroma of New Forest bog water.....?
...and today`s efforts with an Iphone, slightly better..
The hounds weren`t in the mood for any jumping today though, probably all jumped out from yesterday.

My daughter regularly changes her bedding without Mable even standing up, let alone getting off the bed!
Maia 6 years old ....Nanny dog...
Well I'm delighted to say that I shall be dog-sitting Frank again this weekend. We lost my dad last month and my mum is still a bit upset, so seeing a small, beautiful and mischievous dachshund zooming around her flat will definitely cheer her up. Here's Frank enjoying Christmas.
Spring, one of our lurchers. First pic is her calling after me when I left the house.

12 weeks between photos, Stan is 5 months old today. Definitely going to be a big Shepherd!
Thank you kind sirs. Frank was a delight to have over the weekend, and he definitely cheered my mum up, even if he did steal some of her socks! :)
Here he is sunbathing in the rare winter sun, and then owning my flat by jumping on the coffee table and mastering all he surveyed.
Ozzie chilling after his walk yesterday. That dog can snore with the best of them!!!

Ted met his younger brother - Snoop yesterday, (from the same parents but a litter the year after).
My dentist who is a great friend, liked Ted so much he went to the same breeder for Snoop.
They had an amazing time bounding around and playing, here they are looking completely knackered..

That landscape: labrador heaven! I like those Loki-in-the-wild pics.

^^^ He is a very handsome soul. What breed is he?
I will have to show my wife later... she'll adore him!
