    Been a long while since I posted in here, but I couldn’t fail to share this - Gracie, fast asleep, chasing dream-squirrels while I was working yesterday...

    Dot complete with a dirty old wellington boot she has dragged onto her armchair.

    She often likes something of ours close to her, although the boot belongs to my youngest son's gf.

    Cheers,
    Neil.

    Ok that looks dangerous / you should invest in a muzzle for that beast - if you find a good one let me know so I can apply it to this killer

    She’s a miniature Schnauzer / Bichon Frisée cross. Absolutely wonderful temperament.

    This particular canine resting posture with legs extended to the rear whilst lying on the ground is called `splooting`;

    ...and this one is the `excuse me, this is my sofa....`;

    We were up in Sutherland in the Highlands. Was lucky with the weather and had a great time. The dogs loved the forest walks and the deserted beaches.

    A lot of mischief lies behind those meltingly dark eyes I suspect!

    Barney is 8 years old this month, which makes him an old man in Newfoundland terms. His back hips are not good and he doesn't go for walks anymore, but he is still a happy chap, well loved and does enjoy a good sleep.

    If I knew I’d continue working from home indefinitely I’d get myself a Cocker Spaniel. I had a quick look online at dogs available.
    Bloody hell, cheaper to buy a racehorse, daft money. But then again all the sites were the mega pedigree sites that listed the lineage back to Roman times!
