Dot, making the most of the morning sunshine on her special bit of carpet next to her armchair!

Got a pic from her American cousin - needs a sunhat out there!

    Cheers,
    Neil.

Nice one! Freddie the spaniel always makes a beeline for the conservatory in the mornings. Some days I have to stop him, as even with doors and windows open I panic that he's going to overheat!
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Mika is our latest rescue dog, saved from a kill shelter in Serbia. He's a beautiful, very elegant chap and has immediately fit into our home!

Dot loves the sun. Lays in it inside or out until she has had enough and then virtually crawls away!

Always put sunscreen on her beak as the fur is very sparse there.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Our boy loved carrots so when the vegetable planting season started my wife marked the buckets with carrots as Turnip, so he wouldn't know where they were, Loopy woman, I knew he knew he only had to sit by the fridge and we knew he wanted an"orange vegetable".

Thanks all- he has such a lovely, calm temperament and is head over heels in love with our other rescue. Of course the cat still rules the roost!

We got both of our dogs from Serbia's Forgotten Paws, who are a wonderful charity. In places like Romania and Serbia stray or unloved dogs are rounded up and put in these kill shelters in absolutely appalling conditions before they are ultimately put down. Yes, the healthy ones too. The charity rescue the ones they can and foster them in the UK.

I'm house and dog sitting for friends whilst they're on holiday, that means looking after this fur covered lump of muscle for a while. I don't take him for walks, he takes me...

We are away for the weekend and Mrs C’s friend has Mable. It’s the first time we have left her with anyone since her Frank passed away.

We checked in to make sure he is alright and this is the picture we got back... fair to say, she’s ok.

I'm no expert but I thought Airedales were bigger?

Aye, think I’m barking up the wrong tree there. Irish Terrier? Lakeland Terrier? Welsh Terrier? It’s that distinctive face.

Not an Irish. Could be a puppy class and therefore Airedale may be right

My Irish yesterday. SW France is rather warm at the moment

Maybe. Or as someone else said, it was possibly a puppy training class. In which case it could have been a wee Airedale. Don’t see too many of them nowadays, which is a real shame.

He’s fastened in on a harness and if it rains he has a small window that can close...his head is through it in this shot.

Meet Cooper. Or better: meer him again. I posted his pics a few years back as well. We’re his foster family for this weekend.

A 4.5 y/old Staffy. Well, Staffy... on the outside. The inside is a dog with the spirit and attitude of a Labrador! Best mates with everybody he meets. Dogs, people and especially children are his best friend.

The owners advised us to take him for an intense walk. “Hour and a half will keep him calm for a part... of the day!” A Red Bull commercial on paws!

This is our boy last week on 'Two Lads' Rivington.
The muck on his face is where the suncream had been before he entered various streams.
He can find muck and water just as easy as he can find strategically placed treats at home, like most dogs.

Fortunately EBT's are not keen a on a lot of exercise, pretty much bone idle - like their owner.

Loving the EBT & Stafford content, and Mave is an excellent forest companion. Bless them all.

I’m on holiday at the moment and loving being with mine every minute of every hour of every day. They are just such lovely companions.

Thanks, I am. We take them on at least two trips a year. Generally we go to the Dordogne and Cornwall, this year the latter only thanks to Brexit uncertainties at the time of booking last year. We knew what the EU position would be with regards to taking them out of the U.K., but the U.K. position on pet passports wasn’t clarified and hence we couldn’t guarantee that we’d be able to bring them back without quarantine. Grrrrrrr
