    7548 restore help

Ok received this yesterday - non runner, tried a new battery an no joy.
It's missing a battery strap and stem- I've tried the stem from my 6309 but can't get it to engage .
So I'm looking for any thoughts and maybe a donor movement

    Thanks

The cheapest option is to get yourself a 7546 powered dress watch, the movement's a straight drop in. Should cost you about a tenner on ebay.

Are you sure that the stem is back into the neutral position? If it's stuck in the time setting position, it will have hacked and therefore stopped the movement. So I would suggest the first task should be to sort the keyless works to get the stem operating properly.
