Is this thread for a spreadbet on the amount of time it'll take for one of the usual suspects to come and crap all over it with their repetitive drivel?

The Netherlands makes a last gasp bid for this weeks Knob Jockey award, a worthy winner despite a quality field.

That's because Americans are all a bunch of... oh, wait, where are you from again??

    ;-)

(but seriously, they are soooooooo serious and over-sensitive there - they just dont get us Europeans at all. You, of course, are an honourable exception!)

We need to be careful as this might catch on and someone could start a post called "Bremont" and I don't think the bandwith would cope

I'd rather have a Grand Sicko, as they offer so much value for money, even though they are built in secret by ninja warriors and everyone will think you paid eighty pence, so you can walk around homeless areas in complete safety.

That's very true - one of my old friends from sixth form thinks my GS is the cheapest looking watch I own and looks as though it came from Elizabeth Duke (Argos). To be fair, he knows nothing about watches. Not sure whether I like it more as a result?

what a pointless thread, mike summed it up perfectly & captain made me smile at least :D

really, a company makes a product some of you don't rate, using a market place strategy many of you hate, this company doesn't care - you should just deal with it

Tell you what, you knob - go and check every sale of every watch that Ive ever bought on SC, and come back when you find one I've profited on. In about 100 instances, you won't find a single case although on balance I'm probably far worse off than break-even after being treated to the famous WingTsun rip-off treatment.

Now run along and play, or go and stalk someone who actually cares, you mentalist.

They make very good watches. Watches that other don't make anywhere near as well.
They are priced correctly. Rolex are masters of correct pricing. This is evidenced by the very strong residuals and consistent sales.
I am far from a fan boy. I have only two Rolex in a collection of over 20 watches. Knock them all you like, but no-one does what they do better.

Nothing wrong with you amended version. The target market is all anyone would be interested in. Fat lot of good it would be to market their watches to people who wouldn't or indeed couldn't buy them
