    Just snagged this

Eterna Kontiki Super re-issue. Had one that I sold in the infamous Rolex fever.

New and unworn. Will be first owner with stamped card.

    That's a cool thing.

Almost the only thing done well in the 70's was watch design.

Beautiful watch. What size is the case, as a matter of interest?

    Nice catch!

Always fancied one of these, being a child of 1973...

That's very nice, it looks remarkably fresh and modern. Not sure I like the double-clasp though...

Hmmm, the porn was pretty decent.

Beautiful watch by the way - great catch.

Well done, sir! One of the few "reissues" that equal the original in build quality, IMO

I like that.....a lot!, classic, clear, functional design with modern reliability in minty condition, spot on!

    Congrats, a great watch.

I love mine but do prefer the original. Am normally a fan of big watches but think the original size works better than the 44mm in terms of overall dimensions and proportions.
    Still, a great watch.

Yep, I wish they would have mirrored the original size. It's hard to find vintage in nice condition....these were used!

Congrats bud, that's very nice indeed. If you remember a while back you helped me with some knowledge on Doxas, well I decided to seek put one of these instead. I have a feeling your new prize could be the very same one I saw on C24, did it come from the Netherlands? Or maybe it was another EU country, I can't remember. Anyway, I decided to resist, which I regret now. If you ever get bored of it ;0)

I bought this one from a gent in Germany, Stewart. There have been several that people sat on that have popped up lately! I'll let you know first if and when (who am I kidding...when) I cut it loose.

Sort of.. it was a limited run and AFAIK sold out, but if you look on Chrono24 there is usually some unworn/unsold examples for sale. Prices seem all over the place though.

I should have added a smiley winky face thing at the end to show my sarcasm ;)
