How's the time keeping on your Everests guys

Mine is gaining 10 seconds a day which I think it reasonable for this price point

That's pretty impressive, is it easy to try and regulate yourself once you have the back off or best left to a Pro ?

10 is a bit too fast for my tastes.

I've found some older threads on how to regulate the Miyota 9015 movement, I might have a go at this as it looks straight forward enough, just a bit of trial and error. Might let the movement bed in for a few months though first

Mine lies crown-down when off my wrist and is running a respectable +4s/day. Very pleased with this Simply a fantastic watch!

Mine was around +10s/day (although it fluctuated quite a bit, inexplicably) when I used to lie it face-up at night. When I started laying it crown down, as noted above, it improved markedly.

Ok thanks Sean, I always tend to put my watches face up in my watch box

I might leave it a few months and see what it does, then try and regulate it to be more accurate when left face up at night

Ha I know, feel pretty lucky.

I had the back of my PRS-3 and got that from +17 (I think, it was a while ago) to -3 per day. So if you have a bit of confidence and want to get stuck in, I say go for it.

But I wouldn't be too hasty. Let the movement settle for a while and during that time read up lots in how it's done so you can feel more comfortable when having a go.

    Good luck,
    Tris

I've had mine almost two years now and it's so accurate I never even consider timing it any more.

What you think the time is still spot on after 2 years without setting it ? Its good but its not that good, even a Superquartz will lose/gain 10 seconds a year

Do you really think that's what I meant?
