That AP is gorgeous, I remember seeing an Omega Seamaster with an electric blue dial, that looked amazing in the sun.

Not only watches look good in sunshine.
This has to be one of my all time favourites. The balance of the whole watch is incredible, the big date is really special.The sun brings out the blue on this dial quite nicely.
I had no idea the dial was blue and not black.
Most Blackbird big date Chronomat's have a black dial, but there was a run of blue dials made but I don't have any info. on the numbers.
This thread was started two whole days ago...and the sun is still shining! White dial makes for a perfect summer watch in my opinion.
This thread beats looking at pics of watches in the snow!

Small world. The feed store your cap came from is a 30 minute drive from where my great-great-grandfather and his family are buried.

It´s a so called "gimme-cap" that was given to me by an old rancher when he took me out to show me his cattle and oil pumps. He is a retired Air Force Lt.Col. and is married to a danish woman - they have been "sponsor family" for many years to the danish fighterpilots that are being trained at Sheppard Air Force Base. He is originally from Archer City but they now live in Wichita Falls - Nanna and Dan Powell.
I am a Military Legal Adviser to the Royal Danish Air Force and have visited Sheppard AFB quite a few times, so I got to know them well. As I am born and raised on a farm in Denmark he wanted to show me his livestock and the farmlands in the area - but for that I needed a cap !! :-)
