This would help greatly - they're worth between £850 - £1100 on average
Hi, I am new to the forum, I would like some advice. I have been left an Omega fat arrow , as title says. wonderful timekeeper, condition of the face has a few little marks, not sure if it is rust, or just dirt. Am I better of having it proffessionally cleaned, or leave it alone?
Any idea of current value, as I wish to sell it soon.

Leave it alone, do not have anything done 'professionally'. If you are going to sell it, a good place would be the sales forum (p/x) at broadarrow.net the military watch forum. You could have a search through old posts for a value.
Originality is key to value with these. If you want to sell it, I'd advise selling it as it is. Get some decent hi-res photos. I echo the value thoughts above and also concur that MWR is your best bet for selling it; military watches don't sell quickly on this forum and EBay is a gamble and too expensive.
Good luck.
