Thread: S London motorbike DAS recommendations?

    S London motorbike DAS recommendations?

Theory done and passed. Want to begin DAS course next weekend inc CBT to start. Best quoted so far is £850 in SW London inc CBT, bike hire, 4 day course across two weekends plus module 1 and 2 test, bike and kit hire included. A bit above what I was expecting but price isn't an issue so long as tuition etc is good.

Anyone got a recommendation for a course in or around south London?

    I used these guys. http://betterbiking.net

I did my CBT then rode around on a bike for a few months before doing a 4 day DAS with test.

    I really enjoyed it.

Is that a good price now??? I paid under £250 for a four day course, maybe five.

My opinion on prices is a little out of date. I have just realised that that was nineteen years ago!

In the Owlerton Stadium car park, which has now had a Napoleons Casino built over it, I believe.

As you mentioned a bit out of date, but ironically thats what I paid 19 years ago as well and it included bike hire.

I paid £850 for my four days a number of years ago, so it's a decent price.

Yes, all-n here too, including keeping the bike overnight.

Thanks guys. Will check out betterbiking and metropolis. TBH i'd heard that metropolis were stupidly expensive so hadn't bothered inquiring but doesn't hurt to ask! Don't have a bike yet so need a loan one...

Am just back from New Delhi and Jakarta and the riding (and driving for that matter) over there was just mental! I guess their tests aren't too involved!!!.....
