Nils Lofgren "Acoustic Live". Never mind his shennanigans with Springsteen, this is awesome stuff. Seen him numerous times and never ceases to make me want to destroy my guitar!
Bright Eyes, "Cassadaga."
Great, great, stuff.
Particularly the tracks "Four Winds," "If The Brakeman Turns My Way," "Classic Cars."
Richard Thompson. He's been making great music for the thick end of forty years. Seen him in concert a few times - both as a solo artist and with his band - and it is always a tiptop show. I have to say he is probably the world's wittiest muslim.
Here's a taste (just listen to the words if you are not familiar with song - marvel at his finger-picking too!)

I had this on the other night - awesome acoustic guitar playing  I like the track, "Kieth Don't Go". On my set up he sounds like he's in the room.Originally Posted by magirus

Blind Boys of Alabama "Spirit of the Century".
The Soundtrack of Our Lives "Behind the Music".
Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash: Nashville 69 - The Nashville Skyline Outtakes.
Not nearly as brilliant as the Nashville Skyline album but still very good and sounds well on vinyl :)

Just listening to the Doors, Strange Days. Music like that doesn't age at all.

Didn't they make a track with Duane Eddy? I don't know why but this made me think of "The Power Station" and I'm going to listen to their first CD right now!Originally Posted by mr1973

Great choice Eddie, I think I'll give that a spin myself later. :)Originally Posted by swanbourne

The song was a Top Ten hit around the world, ranking #1 on Rolling Stone Magazine's dance chart for six weeks that summer. "Peter Gunn" won The Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental of 1986. It also gave Eddy the distinction of being the only instrumentalist to have had Top 10 hit singles in four different decades in Great Britain.

Another 5 minutes on Youtube instead of working. Only it's never just 5 minutes is it? You always have to look at something else.
In case you think Duane Eddy only ever played easy stuff, look at this.
