    Bremont MBII. Landed

Hi guys. Received my MBII last Friday and heres some pics.

    On the very comfortable velcro.

On leather. These Bremont leather are very thick but supple and with the curved ends look great. It also came with the vintage tan leather but I prefer the black with white stitching.

The leather pouch is a fantastic way to present the watch rather than just another boooooring inner box. And it'd be a pretty useful travel case

Outer box nice thick cardboard all very tasteful.

The watch looks great and has a nice inner rotating dive / timing bezel that operates on their ball bearing roto click thingy. Its solid and feels good to use. I really love both the large and grippy crowns that seem to be begging to be played with, so i find myself doing just that.

The overall feel of the watch is solid and very well made, there is nothing flimsy about this piece I really cannot fault its construction. The packaging is spot on.

Ideally I was after the U2 but this came up and they're so similar I went for it.

Lets see how long it lasts

Nice clear, quality design and I'm tempted with an inner bezel, looks clean and protected behind the sapphire crystal, great watch!

I really like these . Are they worth the money ? I'm not so sure . A bit of the detailing borders on quirky but what a great case shape .
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Very nice and thanks for posting.
One question. Is the crown for the inner bezel screw down and if not, does the crown get moved much in daily wear due to the lack of crown guards?

No, the crown is not screw down.... and (in my experience) the bezel crown never moves by accident. The roto-click mechanism requires a positive turn..

Yep this is right, neither crown is screw down but both take a firm touch to move them, I've not moved mine by accident. Both are super smooth once moving. The knurling on them is just right.

I'm also loving the dull grey colour of the steel. Apparently it's hardened super hard by a British company that hardens the blades of jet engines.

To be fair is any watch? Once you are paying over £1000 it is all silly money for some metal, gears and cogs
