Which movement does it have currently?
Guys,
Something in my '83 CWC has given up the ghost - watchmaker is quoting me £75 to replace it, so obviously not worth the cost to me, disappointingly.
Am I missing something? Will an ETA 955 / Ronda 715 not fit on this earlier model?
Which movement does it have currently?
If I'm not mistaken the movement should be an ESA 947.111 7 Jewel. I've read somewhere
that they were not particularly reliable and NOS movements are hard to find. This seller in Holland
frequently lists parts and has one watch with the same movement listed.

Thanks for the replies guys. Hmm, not sure what is in there - I'll get it sent back and investigate a bit more. I kind of assumed all these G10s would be interchangeable movement-wise. Seems an awful pity to scrap it.
If not, I'll stick it on as a spares/repair freebie if I one day make SC access. Cheers!
I had my CWC Navigator with (I think) the same movement serviced and restored to life - but it cost the equivalent of £100
1983 models had an ESA; current ones, AFAIK, have an ETA.
