Thread: New arrival

    New arrival

Been on the look out for one of the Schumacher Auto Speedies at a price I would be willing to pay and not seen one for ages so when this became available I thought I'd give it a try.

And I really rather like it!

It's a Broad Arrow Olympic model (3556.50) with the 3303 Column wheel movement 55hr reserve, standard speedie 42mm case, Sapphire crystal with AR, 100m WR and a date!!

I like the oversized Omega logo... gives it a feel of a vintage face.

First time I've seen one of those......At first glance I liked it but on looking further,I must admit, I'm undecided.

It's got me exactly the other way around, at first glance I wasn't sure but thought why not give it a try. Now it's actually arrived it is much better than I thought. There's something odd and a bit unusual about it and I rather like that (to a certain degree) in my watches. Think it's to do with the fact it's a speedie but it's got numbers on the dial, it's not right but I like it.
