Chronically under rated brand. So wish there were more of them in the UK!

Good buy OP, and welcome :)

That's an awesome looking watch, something I also considered before, but realized my wrists were too thin for it, but really unique watch!! grats!

How does the rotor spin so fast? Or does it just appear to do that?

I was thinking 'That's a handsome watch', then I saw video, and I thought 'That's a fantastic watch!' Congratulations! Lovely, and very different!

    A fabulous watch, congratulations!

Nice little video here ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEXElCwm6d0

Congrats on that, Perrelet do some really interesting and different looking watches.

Was really looking forward to seeing them all at Basel last week, but the stand was a real letdown. All they really put on show was different Turbines which were very nice, but limited. Really wanted to see their other bits.

My friend has one of these. DLC black titanium case, gray turbine dial. Almost impossible to read the time, but people just keep looking at his watch wondering what it is... Very cool.

I don't get it. It spins when the rotor winds?

The hidden crown and the handle to pull the crown and put it in set hour mode i think is another point that show the quality of the watch.

    Hidden crown and handle

Hidden crown but handle in position to pull the crown and put it in position to set the hour

Crown and handle in position to set the time.

    And a wristshot jejeje

With this colours its is very easy to read the time for me.

Hope in this video you can see that rotors move independently

I've fancied one of these for ages, but they aren't easy to come by. Most seem to sold in the US.

Regardless, spurred on by this thread I have just bought one that should hopefully arrive next week...

So clever my foot fell off.

Fabulous watch. I have several Perrelet watches and have often been tempted to buy a Turbine. I am spurred on by this thread and all the Turbines I saw on display at their stand in Basel.
    Now I must get one.

I was looking at them as well, but the color choice in almost all of the turbine range makes reading the time difficult, unless of course the turbine is rotating in which case you can forget to check the time and just look at the turbine

Following on from the Friday thread, where have you chaps who have bought them purchased them from?

UK stockists seem thin (no existent?), which really just seems to leave Chrono24 and a load of US sellers.

One UK stockist at the moment – Frosts Of London – but the current distributor is working on increasing the number of resellers for the brand.
Currently have my eye on a Perrelet myself.

    Sadly it's not this one....

It has a big bum date, that's your tidbit of info until it's a done deal or panned as a no-goer.
I'm not much keen on diver watches, but I have been taken, somewhat, by the Seacraft, in blue or white – so that's creating a bit of a dither.

Another fan here, these have been on my radar for a while, really like the poker edition with playing cards visible through the blades and the erotic version ;)

The crown handle is a really clever touch, theres a nice animation on youtube of it in pieces forming together, and fighter jets buzzing around, very cool.

I'm still enjoying my one and have no plans to flip it (which is rare for me!).
