iPhone lume shot.
Recently got to try the Aerospace for the first time,
Must admit I like it a lot more than I thought I would.
iPhone lume shot.
Think I may have to put WTB up very soon for an Avenger Seawolf, like the grey dial with numbers. Only concern is the size, but love the detail that Breitling put into the watches.
Seriously, McBeardy, you should go for it.
Until an Avenger fell into my hands as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the Seawolf was top of my Wish List. I like 'em best in grey Arabic dial format.
Oh, and it's 45mm which is a great size. If you're used to your OM then I don't think you'll find the slight size increase over the Monster to be a problem.
I'm actually really disappointed that the new Seawolf and Avenger have both 'shrunk in the wash' - they're both now only 43mm which I think is a real shame...

Finally worked out how to upload my white B2
Thanks Simon, think I need to go try one on, I'm debating the Avenger Seawolf or Omega Planet Ocean Seamaster & can't decide between the both. Base Pam is my ultimate watch I want & it's what to go next to it! Prices on SC always seem the set when they pop up, but struggling to find many places that have the grey Arabic dial format with brown leather strap.
I tried on a Galactic II Chrono, and really liked it. I couldn't afford a new one, so I hope I can find a nice new one when I'm in a position to buy.
new arrival (steelfish) takes me to 4
a navitimer will be my next and final breitling but probably not for some time now.
I have a new yellow dial Seawolf on order but having doubts now if it's too "in your face". Thoughts?
I had one on order too, and never went through with it (bit of a long story!)
Basically I never got one as I ended up finding the Seawolf too chunky - owned 2 before I realised.
As for the colour, I could still go for it personally, but I think you need many other bases covered in your collection first (perhaps you have?)
Yellow does say Breitling for me, it's whether that statement (especially on a big watch) is what you are looking for?
It is one specific dimension to be aware of - its depth.
The majority of my watches have been 42-45mm, but the Seawolf is the only watch that used to be a door frame magnet! It is incredibly thick, and thus sits very proud on your wrist.
It is a superbly well made watch, and both of mine kept great time too.
Bit of a crap photo taken in haste with my phone at night, but here are mine...
Cheers,
Steve

Bought from sonyman (appears on his pics too!) and sold to a chap in Jersey on rubber, the refurbed bracelet lives on with Worksimon. I sold to buy
Bought from chartman69, sold to another member to fund
I've already turned down an offer £150 more than I payed for it!!
Love it!!!
Gulp... I'm thinking of putting my Steelfish up for sale...
Simon
It's official - my Steelfish is now up for sale to reduce the significant financial deficit created by my purchase of a brand new Seawolf!

Is the service interval really every 3-4 year's? That's what an AD told me, which seems a bit short?
Have to say I find the majority of Breitlings are not to my taste (too fussy / over styled)
However, the non-chrono Superocean Heritage and the classic navitimers are beautiful
Some nice one', but not all:cool:
Here is my super avenger
My first Breitling and only to date - 1998 Spatiographe:
My sea wolf
Black dial but looks blue in certain lights
I like that Headwind, is it by chance the one that changed hands on SC here a year or two back?
I'm waiting for this to return from a service:
There can be only one..... always the Blackbird Big Date for me.
I'm sure my Cosmonaute's in the thread somewhere already, but I've added a B-1 recently.
Totally different to my Cosmonaute, but I like it nearly as much!
I'm not a fan of all Breitling's watches (modern or classic) - The Bentleys leave me cold, especially - but I think the general dislike some people have for them is irrational.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
Couple of mine...
Like Breitling, but Not keen on the latest bs I must say.
