Used to have these two. I totally regret selling the CA. Both had to go to fund other purchases. Both great quality and design.

I would just like to post a groveling apology for a post I made possibly (probably) in this thread saying I didn't get / didn't like etc.. Breitling.

To say I'm in lust of a Blue Navi World with both blue leather and steel straps would be an understatment.

I need one. I will have one before the year is out.

    Then I'll post in here.

    Great choice!

I'm hoping for Breitling to announce a new B04 Navi World. If/when it comes I'll try to strike a deal on the discontinuing ETA based version.

Wasn't a Breitling fan to start but they have really grown on me. Superocean Heritage is one I would love

Interesting ploy. Current Navi World has been going since 2005 I think. I wonder if they'll discontinue it soon enough.

I would guess that they will discontinue it as soon as they introduce the new inhouse Navitimer World. They already have the movement, so I think it's only a question of their capasity to produce it in high numbers. It might come next year or it can take five years. Might be never... Glad I'm not in a hurry...

I have a Question I hope someone can help me with. How much would a stainless steel bracelet for a Navi World cost, new and a 2 or 3 year old used piece?

If anyone has been searching for a Pro Diver 1 I've got a pretty brand new one I've taken off my Emergency as its going up on eBay, thought I would give any of you Breitling lovers first dibs as they are hard to get hold of!

I've been considering a superocean recently. There's an orange limited edition that's caught my eye. Really nice looking watch.

I don't know about used, might be hard to find one. The MSRP of the Navitimer Bracelet for Navi World is close to 1400 €, or 1200 GBP. I have found it next to impossible to get a decent discount on a spare Breitling bracelet.

New to me, my new Steelfish. I really love it. Loads of character and a lot of bang for your buck in my opinion

Sorry for the mobile phone pictures

Unfortunately I don't have the funds at the moment, otherwise I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

Thanks. I ask because I've managed to find a 3 year old Blue Navi World with both blue leather tang strap and Bracelet. The bracelet has the normal light marks from desk dives etc.. But the case is almost as new for a 3 year old watch it's been well looked after.

I'm meeting the seller tomorrow and we've agreed £3250

I want to wear the Navi on the blue leather. That's what I'm sold on and have been very tempted to just buy it new on one so to weigh up this deal I needed to know the added value of the bracelet in the deal.

Thanks for your help. I think I've got a very fair price here.

Don't mention it, I'm glad if I could be of assistance.

The thing about bracelet prices is that when buying a watch, you'll get a discount to the whole package. More than 30% off is not unheard of. Separately it's not going to happen, from what I've read and personally experienced. Breitling is one those brands that you should always get with a bracelet in the first place. OEM strap on tang costs some 150 €, so with a little negotiating maybe a 100 quid or so in GB. Much better to get that or - dare I say - even an aftermarket strap afterwards .

I think you've agreed to fair market value, so you and the seller can both be happy about it. I hope to see some pics when you get the watch, as I too hope to own a Navi World one day. I just wish it would be swimproof.

    Cheers,
    Antti

I like it. I had the yellow SO42 until recently. There's one thing to consider though. If my memory serves me correctly, the Abyss Orange is available only on orange Superocean leather. There's nothing wrong with that, mind you, but if you wish to get a bracelet for it afterwards, it might be expensive. Check my previous posts in this thread for more info.

I'm a big fan of leather straps actually so the lack of bracelet doesn't bother me at all. The bracelets are polished as well which show up scratches a lot.

and they're not making any more of them which is a shame, to me this is the epitome of Breitling styling

Picked up the Navitimer World today. Wow how he said there are the usual marks on the clasp from desk dives etc.. What he meant is the watch is like new. He has taken superb care of it and the leather strap has had the most wear.

I'll post picks soon. But my latest grail watch has been acquired and I'm a happy man.

I thought I'd be able to post a pic of a rebuild/project Chronomat soon, but it's still at the panel beater's and it looks like another Superocean has beaten me to it. 1,500m, automatic valve, screwed links, all-brushed, steel-only bezel for easy refinishing, a modest 41mm across and 14.5mm deep. Or I can spend £5,000 on some Omega jewellery with half those specifications but a great deal more "brand equity" ;)
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!

Well spotted Willow and yes 2001. That's my second big typo today on here, must be the heat and the thought of three days off.

Would be good to see the White.

It has not missed a beat in nearly 12 years, the dial is manic as you say ach, it makes my 45.5 PO feel feather weight but like you I just love it.

It did not leave my wrist for 8 years and the bracelet is solid with virtually no movement whatsoever. It is sheer quality.

Thanks BigVic and Paul! I always wanted a Super Avenger but when I saw the SOH with the mesh bracelet in the jewellers, I had to go for it. There are about 10 other Breitlings on my want list though, so hopefully I'll manage to collect all of them over time :-)
