A watch I would wear before a Deepsea.

If I was to buy a breitling this would be the dial option I would go for. Looks amazing, just wish I had a wider wrist to wear it.

I did have a Deepsea before this, at the moment they feel similar in size and weight but the Deepsea was on a bracelet.

Might as well keep the theme of yellow dialled Breitling’s going. Here’s mine.

Not often you see a 38mm diver

My first Breitling arrived last week and I’m very happy with it. The polished strap is a bit much for me so I’ll change to a ocean racer rubber with deployment soon.

There is a black one on e-bay with brushed steel deployment as we speak; I've just ordered a new one from an AD at a cost of £340 for strap and clasp

    And one of mine.

I love the mid-to-late 2000's Breitling style, and would buy almost any of those.

    I’d agree with that.

Not a fan of the polished look - too bling.

    A good-looking watch, though.

Despite appearances, I did not take that on a 1990s digital camera. If anyone knows how to post images that don’t look like crap, I’d be happy to do so.

Yes that's the one, very pleasing to my eyes, specially the brushed model.

The Blackbird is lonely though. It really wants a Seawolf to keep it company

This was a recent unplanned purchase. It does not wear as big as its stats suggest.. I love the smooth curved case shape (more than the new Navi 8 unitime version).

    Very pleased with it!

    i own a Colt auto 44mm
does anyone know if the bracelet and their rubber straps use the same spring bars ?

  38. #1138
No they do not - you can use the bracelet bars on a strap but do not use strap bars on a bracelet - you can't remove them via the cut outs in the bracelet links.

Do you happen to have a link for the rubber strap springbars?

I am afraid not, they are AD supply only - but if you are clear what strap they are for then they are about £10 a set from a dealer.

Larger stores with the "Breitling Field Repair Kit" will have them in store.

God, that's a thing of beauty, one came up on SC last year and I was sorely tempted but would be risking divorce if i'd spanked the savings on it. One day though I'll have a world time watch, preferably a Breitling Unitime as they don;t seem to suffer from the tiny face, huge surround issues that most others with this complication do.
