You have let some stunning Breitlings depart Ross

I think you need to buy at least one more

This is and always has been my favourite Breitling, wearing it as I write..... Most of my favourite models are discontinued such as the Ti Avenger Chrono and Blacksteel Skyland, of the current line up I only like the Seawolf.

    I thought this was great

If it was a little less "Breitling", i would still have it.

I toy with the idea of getting a more used one, removing the bezel over-riders, painting out the useless compass rehaut numerals and characters, filling the bezel indices with paint and re-luming it to a super-bright level.

It would almost be perfect then.

Seeing that you are doing a little changing of things to get this watch just right for you can I suggest that you do something about that "5" overlapping the date window border.

That would drive me insane!! (I hope I have not just pointed out something that will annoy you evermore. Apologies if I have)

I've had a few Breitling's over the years, I'm less keen on some of the newer stuff, but they still make a good watch.

It may be the poor mans Breitling, but I like it (being a poor man).

    I used to a 1998 pre-chronometer version of this.
I flipped it to put funds towards a new house. It was battered, had two full services 18 months apart, and it never kept any reasonable time compared to other watches I still have.

But, every time I see one, damn do I wish I hadn't sold it. something about the matt finish, especially at issue when everything else was so shiny from Breitling, it made this one extra special, well, to me anyway

With a couple of minor design adjustments this could have been the ultimate Breitling. In no particular order, I would have liked to seen a 41mm case WR up to 300M and a bigger crown.

You can have that today, in the Chronomat 41 - in-house movement, too. However, you will need £6,000 to buy one :(.
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!

My first 'proper' watch was a SuperOcean, now I have that and a B1.

Had quite a few of them. Currently only have this Headwind left.

Would like to show this Skyracer as well because I liked a lot, mainly because of its bicompax layout and central minute-counter:

I'm not mad on Breitling watches, just not my kind of watch. But I really want to own one. I've no doubt I'll eventually come round or find one I like. If I keep looking at them I know I'll change at some point.

Checkout the Windrider series, they make for a very good all-rounder

I love some Breitlings. I don't own any at the moment, but that's down to finances rather than choice.

Growing up they were always the watches I was drawn to in shop windows and I was stoked when I got my first one. Now I've owned quite a few and I would have any of them back in a heartbeat.

There are a few I plan on getting again someday when I can afford it - definately the SOHC 125th anniversary, possibly B1 and probably some variation of Avenger.

I could't find pictures of all the ones I've had, but here are most of them:

Super Ocean Heritage Chrono 125th Anniversary

    Chronospace

    Chrono Avenger M1 black face

    Chrono Avenger M1 white face

    Super Avenger slate face

    Aerospace

    Airwolf Raven

    Aerospace Avantage on bracelet

    Airwolf white face

    B1 SQ

I've also had a Chrono Avenger and Emergency, but can't find pictures of those.
