    Why not give Andrew Michaels a call... You know you want to (and the new custards are so much nicer that those older ones!)...

    Oh dear, Simon - FAIL.

    SS Yellow Seawolf = Custard
    SS Cobra Yellow Seawolf II = Mustard

    I'll play - here's some pictures of my Navitimer 01 taken with my brand new macro lens (been wanting a Macro for ages!)

    A few scratches on the back from being my daily wearer for the last year, but a handsome back nonetheless.....

    A proper marmite watch as a Breitling should be (?!) but there's nothing else quite like it.

    My 13 year old Colt Ocean. Worn every day for all of that 13 years except for 3 weeks when in for service. It's been dropped, kicked, stood on, bashed against a wall and God knows what else. Pretty good condition considering! Tough old beater.

    So Mark sold his Seawolf to you and his Avenger Skyland to me - both within the last month.

    Busy boy.

    I suspect you're as happy as I am?!

    Yep love it hasn't been off the wrist since I got it, I fear my others may be collecting dust for sometime.
    The sky land is beautiful but enormous in size and presence.

    Errrr..... really?

    Seawolf = 45mm
    Skyland = 45mm

    I grant you it may have a bit more 'presence' due to being a chrono (y'know, more knobs 'n dials), but I'm pretty sure they are basically the same size.

    Now the Super Avenger (like Stew's, above) - that's a whole different ballgame. I tried one on once and I like really big watches - but it's over 48mm!!!!

    Trying out the lume on this Blackbird tonight, it's as good as it gets, it will leave me again without a Breitling when it's moved on, but the pull of the Supermarine S2000 is too strong at the minute.

    Nice photo, mate.

    I really like (almost) everything about the Blackbird... but I'm not sure about the position and size of the date window. Just seems a little odd to me.

    Yep realised that after posting but the wrist presence make a lot of difference, especially as I'm not 100% sure I'm able to carry the seawolf off with my girls wrist, but I love it so who cares.

    I suspect you'll grow into it! When I started out around 9 years ago I struggled with the size of 40mm watches. Now my 'sweet spot' is between 43 and 46mm.

    So the Skyland is right there...

    ...and is the best watch I've ever owned.

    I don't know if this has been mentioned already but I was in prestons of Bolton today and they were selling all their breitling watches for 30 percent off. I didn't ask why as I'm not in the market for a new watch and only thought later that it might be something of interest to some of you guys.

    I got three new Breitling straps for the Blackbird today, I think it looks good on them all.

    Very nice. This is a bit of a grail for me. I've wanted one ever since I tried one on about 15(?) years ago. Missed out on that one on SC!

    That's lovely. I'm in the process of getting my 1st Breitling & tried on some Navitimers & Montbrillants this weekend.

    Prior to trying them in I was adamant I wanted a leather strap but have totally changed my mind now & decided steel is the way to go!

    They do come up now and again on Chrono24, but any Windrider would be a good choice. I've no idea why I sold this Cockpit, It has just about the perfect spec. sized at 41mm, big date, 300M WR and looks good on either the bracelet or strap.

    Avenger Skyland. This is the perfect all around watch for me right now. I think it's great for anything except dress.

    Also approved by the captain. =)

    Since selling my grey Seawolf I have to admit I have been missing it, so a trip to Birmingham led to an impromptu purchase from Gary, I am the owner of this beauty:

    Thanks! I really love the colour of the dial! No watch fits under my shirt cuffs as I don't like loose cuffs :)
