Cheers yes it's in very good condition for it's age, 99 I think, it's amazing how you notice scratches when you take photos lol, the 15 rider tab... the 17045 wears very well, simular to my SMPc I would say. Here it is side by side to the much bigger steelfish

It's a lovely thing (the bracelet), but I'd heard so many stories about how it was a total scratch magnet, that I put it on a Di-Modell Jumbo initially, in case I didn't like the watch really, and I liked the combination so much that I've never taken it off!

It looks a totally different watch on the bracelet, though!

Been looking to get a white faced soh ii for awhile. Finally managed to find one... Loving it so far.

Only downside... My weedy wrist are too thin for the OEM rubber.

Hey guys - sorry for hijacking this thread, but an incident has occurred.
I am auctioning a copy of The Book for the fundraiser; a TZUK member who didn't have sufficient posts to use SC PM'd me with a bid. This got me thinking that maybe I should make mention in the omni-viewable section.

Surely if you don't have sufficient posts, you will not be able to access sales corner by clicking the link?

I had 3 B-1s. Great watch with the best caseback I've ever seen. The last one was flipped for Emergency, but I still miss it.

    My newest Breitling

    Recently acquired Breitling Aerospace.
Just fitted a sailcloth strap with grey stitching . Along with a black pvd Breitling pin buckle. Very pleased with the result.
A very practical and comfortable watch.

There’s just something about the yellow faced Breitlings that draws me in. I can’t explain it.
Though I also think they’re the sort of watch that I love to love at but not sure I’d wear.

Stumbled across this thread and though I don't have any Breitlings anymore, I do miss them; had a SuperOcean and a Ti ChronoAvenger.

Nice to see that some of my old pictures from many years ago still persist - took me down memory lane.

How many Breitlings is too many? In my case 4. 4 is too many.

Hence why the Chronomat B01 44mm is on Sales Corner (ahem). As you can see it’s aesthetically very similar to my Super Avenger but that will never be sold as it was bought with the small inheritance my Grandfather left me. And whilst it’s a beast of a thing it always gets picked and the Chronomat never gets any wrist time.

Plus I have to fund the new 46mm Navitimer that came in (top right) a few weeks ago. So the Planet Ocean sadly has to go too.

So weird. I never liked the Navitimer that much. Too busy. But the new case, display back, the subtle dial changes and the awesome new clasp (and the funky yellow inside the strap) have totally changed my opinion. Or maybe my tastes have just changed over the years.

Wears SO much smaller than it’s 46mm billing.

    The Breitling Appreciation Thread

Amazed I’ve not had more nibbles on the Chronomat. It’s stunning. Full set and a choice of brown, black or navy (genuine Breitling calf) straps. Or all three if the price is right.

    3 watches in one!

Never saw myself as a Breitling owner until I started getting interested in older Aerospaces.

Absolutely love this. So plain and simple, they would never make a watch so plain these days.

Now to find an original Ti bracelet with expanding clasp!

There is something about the Breitling Aerospace for sure as I keep coming back to them, the technology is dated and some of the higher end Casio G-Shocks blow them out of the water from a technology perspective at a fraction of the cost, they don’t make much sense on any level……but I still like mine.
