    Awesome!

Just trying out a blue Pro 3 on this. I've had the Pro 1, Pro 2 and Ocean racer before but this looks the best I think (followed by the Pro 2). Was pleasantly surprised at the £50 price as well (from AMJ, top people).

I really like the Pro 3 strap, far more so than the Pro 1 - when Omega are charging over £150 for their equivalent it's a bargain!

While I think the Pro III for £50 is a great price, that doesn't include the deployant clasp which retails at £270.

If you want the Pro III on tang buckle though, that retails at £110, which isn't miles away from Omega's £140 Olympic Rubber equivalent.

Either way, the Pro III is excellent, whether it's on the Tang, or the expensive clasp with 'Glidelock'-a-like micro adjustment.

Already posted this picture on the new arrival thread, but thought I'd put it on here too. It's an Airborne A33030, only made for two years in the mid nineties...

Is the canvas strap genuine? Your picture does the yellow face more justice

Nice! I remember you selling me one just like that mate. If I had a penny for every watch I've sold and regretted, I'd have enough to buy a Mars Bar!

Wearing one of my Favourites today. Hopefully have a yellow dialled one on the way!

I still think that's the best dial variant on the Avenger. The stenciled numbers look much better proportioned on that version than the later one where the numbers are wider, more square and polished. Wearing my non-chrono version today, longest owned watch in the collection and a definite keeper - unless I replace it with a chrono at some point!

I'm sure it's 42mm but a massive 18.5mm case thickness. Wore it with a suit shirt yesterday. Not a chance it'll fit under a shirt at that thickness

Seawolf's are 45mm, but as you say, at 18mm thick, shirt cuff friendly they are not

A fairly recent arrival for me. Avenger Seawolf Chrono.

Right on the limit for my 6.75" wrist, but I love a DLC'd Breitling. Even if I do fear scratching the finish.

Colin, you have previously bought at least one brand new grey dial Skyland Avenger on brown leather strap prior to this (new, from an AD)! I know because I almost bought it off you before sourcing a black one on bracelet as a direct result of your "new arrival" photos!

Flipping to buy different watches is one thing, but going back and buying watches identical to ones you've had before, direct from the AD, is just... well...ok probably normal for TZUK!

    ;-p

I never really felt the love for Breitling, but I have to say, your photo has made me reconsider. I think a trip to the AD at lunchtime might be on the cards. Will leave the plastic in my desk drawer in case I'm too tempted!!

bought a new strap yesterday and was suprised to find that it is very soft a pliable straight out of the box. Are breitling making their straps with different leather now? they usually take a few days to soften up.

I tried it on a few watches but think it looks pretty good on the B1:

I've tried moving away to other brands but I keep getting pulled back so here's the latest to join the stable

This Breitling Steelfish just arrived today it's on the Breitling strap at the moment and I must say it's extremely comfortable, the Steelfish doesn't wear like a lot of the other similar Breitlings I've owned, it's smaller as in not so chunky and so weighs less, the understated black dial is absolutely fantastic and the attention to details is first class, I also received the bracelet with this watch which I'll put on in a few days but I will enjoy the strap until then, overall very impressed with this Breitling and I've owned quite a few in my time

    The Breitling Appreciation Thread

Breitling have come out with a few watched recently with black cases both titanium and steel.
Just has a thought to check something about the Emergency when I came across these new models for the first time (well first time for me)

Bold striking and bearing in mind the size - quite a statement. Great new colors on the rubber straps.

Also available in these designs as a cockpit B50

there is a version with a mother of pearl face which is surprisingly good looking. the colour is mostly purple and black. and suits the black steel really well.
