I like that a lot. Presumably they've been able to overcome the difficulties associated with a large, slow moving balance?

    Not cheap, I assume?

I saw this a couple of days ago and from memory it was around £12,500.

Not knowing much about the inner working of watches, I assume from that that it ticks at both ends of the oscillation / through the mid point (it says 1hz on the back but it looks to tick twice a second)?

That's a real beaut. Would love to know the significance of running at 1 hertz.
A little out of my league though!

Fabulous. Has the Martin Braun DNA running right through it. I love his work. I was looking for MB EOS for a long time, finally found one last week, should have it by Thursday. I will post photos.

Martin Braun is an incredibly courageous and innovative watchmaker. Unfortunately his name now belongs to Franck Muller, due to an entanglement which ended a few years ago, hence the new brand, which is still effectively the very wonderful Martin Braun brand.

Lovely. I wonder what a 'silidium hearspring' is though?

Silicium is just how the Swiss-French say Silicon

It's all marketing really as its going to be potentially far less accurate than a 3, 4 or 5 hz watch although I'm guessing it will be easier to regulate.
It is a beautiful watch though and quite mesmerising to watch the balance wheel turning so slowly.

Has anyone seen, bought or worn one of these yet?

I've never seen a second hand one for sale anywhere and there is a whole lot of info available on the web if you want to buy a new one.
