Second hand looks "newer"?
After having a browse, I came across this Precista G10. Can you spot the dodgy part?

Second hand looks "newer"?
Dial appears to be too small a diameter for the case ... looks as if there is a ring around the dial circumference.

"Well they would say that ... wouldn't they!"
Precista dial in a fatboy case ? (thanks Sundial)
^^
Pretty sure the Precistas weren't issued in 1980, also the Precistas had the service branch code (W10 etc) stamped, and the 1980 "fat boy" CWCs did not, so this is a CWC case.
My1982 Precista W10 fat case:
... there probably weren't any 1980 Precista G10 watches ... so the Ebay offering is a Frankencista G10.

And it sold for £103!!
The minumum that is faulty is the CWC caseback. I would bet that all of the case is from a CWC as both Precista and CWC fat boy cases are the same.
So in conclusion, someone has done a cut and shut job by combining Precista guts with a CWC case.
I might be wrong but the Precista Fatboys were not available in 1980.
