    Leather nato straps?!

Where do you find those nice leather nato straps? Then I don't mean suede or shiny straps, but strap with a cool vintage, maybe oiled, look.

Do you guys have some tips for me?

If you buy them on Ebay, please post a link to the sellers corner on Ebay.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best! Glenn

I have a 20mm tan kangaroo leather from

    http://www.thetimetraveler.co/access...otic-leathers/

It's just what I was looking for plus top service from a top man (can't remember the name- oops) no connection with me other than a really satisfied customer.

Mate has just put that very same strap on his new Steinhart - so exactly as per the pic on the worn and wound site.

He is very happy with it.

(Apart from the fact he got stung for import taxes etc when the straps he ordered came over....)

I have one of these from Jacob Straps in Spain. They are very nice quality. I particularly like the leather keeper.

    Thanks for the input guys!

Peter of Gunny straps makes some nice leather straps, but to be honest I look them a little cheaper for now... EDIT: I just have send an e-mail to Peter with some orders.

@Soom, can you make some pictures of the strap that you had bought from Ebay please?

I've just bought this from a Spanish EBay seller- carlottin1 ( I made a best offer of 25 euros inc. postage).

Hopefully it will be here this week so I can post some photos with it on the PRS-29b :-)

The straps seems to be good quality, but I don't like those fat loops as hardware...

It arrived from Spain today. Fantastic hand made/stitched distressed strap. The colour is an olive green with varying overtones of pale brown and looks fantastic, Even the roller buckle and fixings have been hand finished!

Price breakdown for mine was 70€ for the strap and 8€ for the OEM buckle. However I did splash out for 3-day express delivery at 23€.

I have to say that I love mine and I haven't worn my CWC diver on anything else since it arrived. As I said, I love the leather keeper. The 'end tucked in look' on most other leather NATOs just looks too bulky to my eyes.

The only slight negative point was that one of the loop stitches next to one of the rings unravelled after a couple of days. But you don't notice this and overall the quality is excellent.

Has anyone tried Daluca Straps? Some cool straps there, but look a bit pricy.

Two merchants that I will likely be buying leather NATOs from in the future are cheapestnatostraps.com and perhaps the eBay seller barbarasbobbles2010. The latter has been vouched for on another forum as selling NATOs of very good quality. Plus, both merchants sell at extremely reasonable prices.

    Just my 2 cents:

    http://www.natozulu.com/

    or

    http://www.watch-band-center.com

And yes, some baby oil on the strap can do miracles
