The way we were, Timefactors.com through the years

I posted this in the Richmond Spencer thread but it is probably worth one on its own.

    I stumbled upon Eddie's site in 2004.

I've been here since 2003. I was trying to decide between the PRS-1 and the EOT C1. Then I read the threads about the PRS-2 so that made me decide on the PRS-1 went to buy it and it had sold out. :( Fortunatly for me Eddie put me on the reserve list for the PRS-2 and I managed to get one new. A few weeks later I bought my PRS-1 from a member of TimeZone.

somwhere in the distant past..... ( 2000 if I recall correct)

I bought two watches from Eddie, a gold plated Omega dress watch and this little gem:

This beautiful red gold Universal still is one of my all-time favourite dresswatches for special occasions....

There was a message board on the website then... (Time Factors Watch & Clock Forum) which soon thereafter became the forerunner of this forum.....

In one of the discussions of the message board was about which out of production watch we would like to see getting produced again and the IWC Mk XI got mentioned a lot....

That led to the PRS-1 which was a reasonable a success for Eddie....
A discussion that started soon after the PRS-1 came out was about the ultimate divers watch..... then came the PRS-2 and the rest is history.....

Nice to see the old incarnations of the forum and the website once again....

Here's the old forum, discontinued in 2002 except for a short while in 2006 when TZ-UK was broken.
