Mesh or Leather.....you decide

I have had it on an Oyster and didn't like it, its been on mesh for a few days and I do like it, but now I have tried it on a padded leather kindly given to me by Minkle and I really cant make up my mind now.......leather or mesh?

Help me decide please.

I've just put my combat sub on a mesh rather than a leather strap and I'm really liking it even though I've never been a fan of mesh.

So my vote would have to be mesh.

For me, neither. I'm not keen on mesh on watches which don't have shrouded lugs. Just looks a bit bizarre to me but it's just personal taste. Similarly, I'm not keen on leather on a diver as it rather removes the entire function of the watch, which is it's ability to be submerged in water. I'd get an oyster with the correct end links (if one exists) or failing that it would go on a rubber strap.

Dunc, you're SO right, but if you HAD to choose between mesh or leather.... what would you choose....remember, only mesh or leather.

I haven't voted as I'm not convinced by either (ok maybe the mesh edges it). I think the leather is overpowered by the watch head, and something like a conker Toshi would even the result up a bit.
