Number 017 was shipped to California on 5 September 2003, I see this one is being sold from Heldesheim so it's not the original owner.

I also like the comment of 'absolutely complete', ohh yes, but it is missing the Rhino strap...

So, that makes it not quite complete?

    $5,000?!

I don't for one second doubt the quality of Eddie's watches, and know that these have now achieved near legendary status.. but that's insane. I thought other ones that have come up for sale in recent times were going for hundreds rather than thousands of pounds?

I made an offer. It was turned down. Can't think why...

I have seen £1,800 paid on Ebay last year, but recently someone had a difficult time finding a trade or buyer at £1,500 on SC. And then there was one sold on Ebay at £1,254 two weeks ago (possibly the one from SC?).

    $5,000? Yeah.

That would be the sensible thing to do. Oils don't last forever.

I sold mine in December for $3K in the U.S. But I had some extras - A Sinn Strap and Buckle and also a spare bezel that was PVD coated.
