    The Monster has landed...

My new (to me) Black Monster arrived today (purchased from sales corner on another forum).

Lovely, it is too. Can't believe how solid it feels, as if hewn from solid steel (which in one sense it is).

    Well chuffed, I am.

A great watch indeed sure you will love it.
Got the same model off our very own SC late this week.

    Gotta love the Monster

Great watch, be careful the Orange Monster usually comes a calling after the BM!

My BM arrived yesterday. I'm so pleased with it, I'm already looking at the Orange. And straps. And mods...

    Trapped, dammit.

I have had 2 OMs which got flipped, but over the moon with the BM
My orange watch requirements are satisfied with the orange Sumo - another cracker.
The snow mod on the new Monster looks tempting, oh and a bead blasted version . . .

You can buy the original bracelet on amazon for about thirty pounds.

Oh you're on a slippery slope now - just look at my sign-off!

The BM came first, then the OM. So far, so normal. Then I saw photos of the LE Yellow Monster, got very excited, found out how much it was and how rare, got depressed, finally spotted Deano selling his Yao Yellow Monster on SC and bagged that.

Bad news is I've now seen photos of Ralphy's Snow Monster and I'm veeery taken with that too...

    It's a disease.

Honestly Nigel, I'm generally a big fan of good leather straps but nothing looks as good on Monsters as the original bracelet IMO.

I've not had a black monster - just 2 orange ones - maybe I should give one a whirl :)

    Thanks all!

First day wearing and I am still so impressed. I am surprised by how comfortable it is, for such a big, heavy beast on a chunky bracelet.

I have definitely been bitten... saving for an Oris at the moment, but I am certain this won't be my last Seiko diver (already have an 009). Although I do quite fancy an Orient Mako...

Gratz! I'm chuffed to bits with my BM too. Been wearing it nearly non stop since I got it. Will be wearing it diving soon too. Just taken a Lume shot of mine today as well. Check it out.

Since buying it a couple of weeks ago I've already bought my second seiko diver as well. Fantastic watches and brilliant strap on the monster.

    The Monster has landed...

    Another BM lover here.

Bracelet is great quality but just don't get on with it.

I like a22mm WJEAN Zulu on it, it's thin enough to fit without bunching noticeably. I found 20mm just looked a little weedy ?!
