    Computer disposal

    Evening all,

I've got an old computer that I need to dispose of, what's the correct way to do it?

I'm going to smash up the hard drive myself, but would the local council tip take the other items off me for reusing/recycling? I don't want to just throw them away.

    Cheers for any help.

Just ask the attendant where the WEE bin is and they will sort it out for you.

Take the hard drive out, format it and buy a 3 or 4 quid caddy off FleaBay and use it as storage.

Throw the remains in the dustbin. Or if you live in an area like I do, just put it on your front lawn and it'll be gone in the morning.

Take it all apart yourself and just for fun see how much of the gold you can recover, tutorials are on youtube.
