I was in town yesterday doing a F2F with a forum member and took a walk through Burlington Arcade, Bond Street, etc, as I always do when in the smoke.
Hemings have a gold IWC Il Destriero Scafusia in the window! This is a Grande Complication with a tourbillion and was made for the 125th anniversary of the company in 1993. 125 were made.
I never thought I would see one.
No price displayed, of course, but I would guess somewhere north of 100 grand. I didn't have time to try it on, not sure I would have the courage to ask!
The Watch Club in Royal Arcade have a COMEX Submariner at 55k, if anyone's after one!
