Track from the new Man of Steel film... Hans Zimmer strikes again - sounds absolutely fabulous even despite the heavy compression!

Hans Zimmer always makes some overdramatic yet epic OSTs. The last one I really enjoyed was the one for Inception.

Like with jazz and soul, many of my favourite guys & girls are by now pretty old or not with us anymore. Among the film composers I prefer are Goldsmith, Fielding, Poledouris, Herrmann and Rozsa. This one is in my player right now and I had forgotten how much I love it:

Changed my mind... Beautiful music (contains the theme from Spartacus)... This man was a true genius, he played three different parts on piano and overdubbed them to make it sound like one fluid piece of music... Not too many who could do that!

Zimmer has great but there's no denying the fact that he recycles TONS of elements. Some of his works are almost the same.
