For me it is probably the Pam 233. I'm not a huge Panerai fan (although I am wearing one today...) I should have kept that one.
Oh, and this one:

And this one:
[IMG][/IMG]
And definitely this, the most beautiful watch I have ever owned:
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
All together now... "Regrets... I've had a few...."
So clever my foot fell off.
I miss this one:
My Heuer 1000m 980.023. It was a huge lump of awesomeness.
I don't think i'm able to go back though. I've tracked down other watches i've owned and loved in the past and bought them again but I never enjoyed them as much the second time round.
My biggest regret was getting rid of my Panerai 232.
I bought a replacement for it last month. That one will go nowhere!
I could literally go on for ever in this thread :)
Both of these i would be happy to have back.
IWC - As a good dress option and generally good looking watch, it has to be this one:(except i'd want it with something better than just an uprated ETA movement, maybe an IWC movement or better yet an out sourced Piaget movement)
Or for a slightly more casual dress style, and also to have an el primero back in the collection:
I wouldn't lose sleep on any of those Jon - lol....
For me it's my first orange bezelled PO which was pre case shape change and fit like a glove (strange saying that, eh!)
All the others I have had and flipped since just don't compare :(
Bought a CK gold watch for GBP195.00 (1998) (K0421240).. dresser watch, what a waste of money, wished I spent it on a Sekio etc... :-(
There has been many, Pam 156 Regatta GMT, Pam 187 Chrono, Pam 72, AP Royal Oak Offshore Black Dial Themes (This one hurts the most) and these....
....Interesting, just realised there are no Rolex's on this list??
Not of any great value if you look at the money but I really regret selling my issued CWC...Exchanged it from a RM in Former Yugoslavia in 1998. Bad idea since its been following me around the world on different missions, Liberia, Somalia to name a few...
I really miss this:
But then I did get this:
I really do miss the Superocean - it was miles better than the Omega PO I owned, which is probably the most comparable watch to it.
This Glycine Combat...
...and this rare & unusual Slava LE...
It has to be my Monanco and Carrera Reto - miss them dearly but they had to go at the time - that's what Mrs Khaja said anyway.
I'm still not sure I did the right thing selling my Steinhart GMT last week
I traded this;
for this....
and just sold it...I don't regret selling the IWC but miss the AT
Bought and sold a lot, the only one i think about a lot is the 2446c. I may be adding another regret with a watch i just sold, but hopefully i'll get another in the future.
Omega 2254
'you stupid boy Pike' really should have kept this.
Flipped to much to list, but I'll give a few examples of my utter stupidity:
and
This ..
and this ...
David
I miss my Omega PO orange bezel/Steel strap. I want another, but even in the 12 months since selling mine, the market appears to have jumped way beyond what I would want to spend to replace it sadly. Still, the itch wont go so will end up buying anyway.
i kind of regret getting rid of my spork. i didnt own it for long, bought it brand new and sold it for very little. i dont even know what i used the money i got for it for.
Regret selling my First Omega, the SMP bond 2531.50, one which was in impeccable condition.
Since then I have consoled myself with a 2254, but a SMP Bond co-axial 2500 is now playing tricks with my mind.
I was looking at the Yachtmasters in WOS cardiff yesterday and had a prang of flipping regret.
I did love mine.
Its a difficult one that. Would you suggest that someone here should sell their 1991 submariner for what they paid for it in 2001?
I think you should always sell for the market price, no matter what you paid. Most of our watches are appreciating in some way. Selling below their market value is something that always seems daft to me. Your devaluing everyone else's watches when you do that too which is a pity IMO. Its more like selling houses than cars really. Of Course, the price one outs a watch on SC at is a rarely what it actually realises as almost everyone here enjoys a good haggle. Some sc prices are pretty obviously inflated above what the seller is actually hoping to archive.
(Awaiting a barrage of abuse about profiteering now!!)

I actually thought you had sold that one, Rob. It's a special one - don't give that one up !
As for my possible regret, there has been only one, and that was a black portuguese I gave up for another portuguese with white/cream dial w. blue numerals. I keep wondering if I did the right thing. Doesn't keep me awake at night, though.
Splendid! Been away from you for long?
Its tough there has been a few but its got to be this one I shouldnt of let it go
I miss the montbrillant datora.
Thought I'd miss the explorer. But I don't.
(Got a milgauss)
Sinn 656.... Thought it was too small then, but am regretting it...
Breitling skyland avenger..... And a gulf Monaco . the thrill of the chase doesn't come close to the sense of regret.never learn though.
My GO Sport Evolution Panorama Date
Bremont EP120 - the one with the authentic Spitfire bits in it,
Number one regret: the mint ten month old Speedy Pro I picked up in Japan for £600 in 2006. Yes, £600. I stupidly flipped it and ended up buying a spanking new one to replace it. Ouch.
My other major regrets are flipping my Marinemaster and Omega Dynamic chrono when both were out of fashion. Very bad timing!
I've also flipped three quartz Bond Seamasters, and know I'm unlikely to find another as good as my last one.
Still, there are far worse things to be remorseful about!
Oris TT 1 divers. Sold it to help fund my Seawolf. Didn't miss it for months but I do now. For the money it was worth I should have kept it.
This one I guess
...especially in minty condition
A rolex 16610LV. Really miss the green, plus I sold it just before the prices jumped up which just rubs salt into the wound.
About to possibly add another!!
:-(
