Cool Look at what mailman brought in - Omega Z-33

I just received my brand new Z-33 less than 1 hour ago !! bought it from a member right here on the forum (thanks Jason)

All I can say is that this watch is incredibly light, box is massive !!! and styling is like Marmite, just glad I was able to get one, will use it for the next few days and then ill update with some feedback, in the meantime .. here it is :)

I strangely like this watch, but it's WAY too big for your puny wrist!

Is it a trick of the light/my screen or does it have a gunmetal finish?

Very cool, can't believe one's been sold on SC already (I'm waiting patiently for access).

    Look forward to the review.

    There is a Skyfall model?

The OP has only one post so shouldn't be able to access SC.

Looks very big to me. Certainly far too big for my 6.75'' wrist.

Actually there is no skyfall model, just a rumour :), its the Titanium one

The picture on the wrist makes it look massive because of the iPhone lens angle, I'll take some better pics soon, while my wrists are small these days, I'm 6' tall, this baby looks and feels just perfect, everybody who holds it can't believe how lite it is.

I must say loving the retro look and it looks great. But my wrists are far to small to carry it off:-(

Usually not the design I'd go for but there's something hypnotic about it. Very nice.

A very interesting piece. Would be great to get some feedback on how it wears after the first week or so.

  29. #29
I like the styling but the size is just ridiculous.

The big clown watches trend has become a joke!

Your right, it could catch someone's eye, or possibly knock a small dog out if you are not careful.

Just out of curiosity. What's your wrist size? Also can you take a picture a bit further away so the size of the watch would be more realistic on your wrist? Would love to own one, but the size scares me!

Don't be, I used to be an 8" wrist, but went on a year long program and shed 40% of my body weight, some of my other watches now feel strange on my now *gasp* 6.5" wrist .. But not this one, the dial is not massive, so tones down the larger case, and the weight makes it feel balanced, it's a big tall watch but you don't feel it

Here is a quick snappie, hope it helps

Obviously not a small watch, but the lug to lug length is fine and that photo's much more representative of how it looks on you.

By the way, 40% is a massive weight reduction - that can't have been easy!

Looks like a fun watch, for the very wealthy anyway. A good thing it's titanium; can you imagine how much this would weigh if it was steel?!

...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!

I think a lot of people are forgetting, it's a Spacemaster...it's meant to look in proportion when wearing your spacesuit.

I think its a bold move from Omega to bring out such an expensive HEQ in these times where mechanical watches rule. Wonderful watch, bold move from you as well! Congrats!

I see what you mean by Marmite - odd but cool but big but funky.

Yes, I should have been more specific, I have been a long time lurker on the forums but never register, I had seen the Z-33 review here and then found it for sale elsewhere, but recognised it was the one from here :)

    Real happy !!

I seriously advise anybody who can to go and see one in the flesh, pictures dont make justice to this model

Im hoping people will continue to hate the sucker and they stop making it ;) ... nothing better than owning such a polarising piece, especially if it becomes rare/discontinued
