Marinemaster 600 maybe? The Ti GMT SD is lovely!
After 3 years of looking at the mm300 I finally bought it. Now that I have it I absolutely love it, and can't take it off. That's a good thing, but the problem is that now I don't feel the need for my other watches.
If I sell a few cheapies I might scrape £500 or £700, but then what? Is there anything I can get for £700 used that can even come close to the mm300??? I just feel like I've reached the top. The alternative is to keep the cheapies and save money for a year or so to buy something expensive....

What about a Seiko Sumo?
You could use it as a kind of MM300 beater.
I see what you did there, but it's way too expensive for something that looks so close to the mm. And I really don't like titanium.
I already have a Sumo, but you are right. They are very nice!
I hope you are right, but I've had it for 2 months now, and I just can't take it off. Everything else I've got pails in comparison. When I think about buying something else, like a Seiko SARB or whatever, I'm worried about the quality compared to the mm.
If you shop clever, £700 can buy yourself a vintage Grand Seiko.
Sell it - or trade it - with me, then you can can get the thrill of the chase all over again :D
I to had these feelings when I got my MM300. don't think I wore anything else for 3-4 months. For me I'm trying to do the second of your 2 options - aiming at higher end watches (within reason) as the cheaper ones just don't compere.
Glad you like yours as much as I do mine - if I ever decided to go back to one watch the MM would be it!
Cheers.
Why don't you just sell your others and keep and wear the MM300 if you have found the perfect watch why look elsewhere!
I would sell of the ones you doesn't wear and buy a Seiko sarb model (the more expensive model like 023). If you buy another diver you Will directly compare it to the MM and it Will probably loose. Another more dressy seiko will be à nice allarounder, and I know you like seiko just as much as me ;-)
£600-£700 should get you a nice Orient Sat diver, could go yellow or orange for something different.
How about a Tuna as a beater, you'll have money left over to treat the Mrs. BTW thats probably one of the best shots of a MM300 i've seen and it doesn't help my itch for one either.
A dress watch.
You can pick up a nice vintage Omega with that sum of money. Or a GS as suggested above. Or a Nomos perhaps?
I got the MM300, love it. Decided i wanted something different..got a Nomos.

I Would probably go for a White dial.
À Stowa MO is the best friend of a MM300
My humble opinion...
then time to think about the strap..I sold my original MM strap and enjoy this very much
Go vintage. Get the Seiko dive grandadddy the 62mas, you should be able to pick a reasonable one up for £700.
Great choice, congrats!
I have similar thoughts, too from time to time. So, I'm selling my cheaper watches and then regret selling them, so I'm getting them again. Depends on what you have in your collection. I would suggest the MM, a dress watch if you like them and a cheaper sports watch for all short of outdoor activities.
I had the same feeling for several months after receiving my MM300. In my case it's the best dive watch in the collection.
But I had a simple rule as well:
- 1 diver
- 1 pilot
- 1 chrono
(beside some others )
And you can find nice pilot style watches well within budget.
Thanks for all the input! Choices choices.......
I think I just need to force myself to not wear it for a couple of days to get some perspective.
Here are a few more pics I just edited from the bay in Oslo. I love how the bezel changes color depening on the light.
Great pics of a great watch!
Got my MM300 in August and it's pretty much been on my wrist since at the expense of others. It's just a wonderful piece of kit.
That being said, I've ordered a Paradive from MKii recently and if it ever arrives, it might compete with the Seiko.

Enjoy your MM300 it certainly looks v.nice. Your watch itch will return soon enough you just have not seen it yet!! lol
That`s a very nice MM ,congrats..
I know the feeling ,I haven't worn anything else since getting this 3 weeks ago.
I would save up for your next grail.
You don't buy an Aston Martin and start thinking about Ford Fiestas, you start thinking about Ferraris.
