    My point is that 83p from people who don't donate (which seems very high) is better than nothing. I'd rather have a guaranteed 83p to charity over a possible £1.25.

    Admin time should be minimal as it would just be an automated money box.

    All pointless chat now though after seeing the cost of setup. Unless there's a kind hearted coder in the ranks somewhere?

    It's really the only method as far as I can see.

    Anyway, you should be proud of yourself for what has been raised so far Eddie regardless of the people who just use the SC and not contribute.

    A few quid on a successful sale, often for thousands, doesn't hurt anyone.

    I'm guessing things might have changed in the last 5 years but if the option still existed and had a cost then I'd happily donate. Alternatively the cost could come out of the first tranche of sales as it seems certain there'd be a benefit to the fundraiser in the longer term (and it might negate the sale of perfumes, old shoes etc).
