Sold recently two watches, feels like around five is the optimal for me.
Fitbit (daily)
Seiko (Fridays and holidays in non-pandemic times)
Rolex (just for looking at these days)
Casio (by far the best timekeeper)
Fossil (guilty love but should this even count?)
This will be interesting to come back to in a while.
Time factors 3 - PRS 29a and Navigator prs 68? Willard
Rolex 4 - Sea dweller, Explorer, sub 1680 and precision
Marathon - 1 pilot
Patek
Rolex
Tudor
Zenith
Breitling
Bremont
Omega
Longines
Certina
Speedbird
Smiths
Casio
Seiko
I think that’s all the brands in the current collection now.
It's just a matter of time...
Tudor x 2
Oris x 2
Omega x 1
Sinn x 1
Meistersinger x 1
Seiko x 1
C. Ward x 1
Newmark x 1
4 brands for me across 4 watches.
I quite like the idea of having a core “wearers” collection of various brands that I actually wear, plus then a little sub-collection of something like second hand Vostok watches or even more specific like every men’s Tissot watch issued in the 1990s - something a bit cheaper but where you can build a bit of an actual “collection” like when you were in school collecting footy stickers and had a load of boxes to tick to catch them all.
IWC - 2
Omega - 3
Rolex - 1
Smiths - 3
Garmin - 5
Casio - loads
Seiko, Pulsar, Certina, Steeldive, Pagani, Tissot, Raymod Weil, Newmark, Citizen, Kemmner, Pulsar etc - loads
Rolex x 3
Omega x 1
Breitling x 1
Seiko x 1
G-shock x 7
Apple Watch x 1
That’s not my ideal distribution. Would prefer just one Rolex and another Omega plus a GS or Zenith instead. I’ve gone off Rolex in a big way and would just retain my 116613 ideally.
Latest is:
Casio
Pancor
Rolex
Seiko
Steinhart
Tissot
2 seikos
1 omega
1 tudor
2 g shocks
1 citizen
1 ginault
8 in total but probably going to slim down the collection in the near future

OK, so the keepers:
Casio (my first watch)
Rolex (used to belong to a good friend)
Fossil (I was wearing when i met my wife)
Tag Heuer (THE watch that got me into watches)
Omega
Pulsar
Vostok (my grandad's)
Zenith
Tissot
Cyma
Universal Geneve
Bulova
Longines
Aquastar
CWC
And then there's the ones going on sale soon, partly to re-point my personal collection (change of taste), partly because of buying a property:
Angelus
Avia
Besancon
Breitling
Cornavin
CWC
Cyma
Duward
Enicar
Favre Leuba
Fortis
Girard Perregaux
Glashutte
Hamilton
