seiko black monster dial fit 6309 7040

Hi All,

Brought a 6309-7040 with an aftermarket dial, I have a NOS dial incoming, but have a black monster dial in the box and wanted to know from any of you if you think it will fit the 6309?

Theres no chance it will be a drop in fit, it may work with chopping of the dial feet and using tabs ..... And it will be a miracle if they are the same widths....
