... any more photos or news on when it might be available?
Cheers
I never 'got' Cali dials - until now. I've long been an admirer of the PRS-20 and have owned two or three and I have to say I think this one might just top the 20.
Did I miss the answer to the 45mm or 47mm question?
David
I'm new here so apologies if I'm not supposed to ask this (I know paneristi.com, for example, can be quite precious about pricing questions).
But any ideas on price? Similar to the PRS20 would be my first guess but is there something in the spec which would make it significantly more expensive?
Cheers

Try a month later as in my case! Kept overlooking this thread for some reason..and the whole history/back story! It's like I've just come across a new watch I had no idea about.
It's quite nicely done - guess it always is - but I've got my eye on others so considering/waiting for those.

Good to hear it looks good in the metal, even if that post is a ridiculous tease :-)
I had my eye on other proposed offerings from Eddie too, but this one is close to the top of the list now.
This looks very nice! I know better than to ask when it will be ready though.
What size is the strap for this one? 26/22mm?
I'm looking to get one made before the release.
Cheers,
Catalin
Thanks, that was what I was thinking. I like the look of a wider strap on the Radiomir case.
Any clue regarding a possible, estimated, optimistic release date?
Out of interest, where are you planning on getting a strap in this size? I'm looking for one: Panerai OEM are too expensive, Waccex Bob is a little cheap-looking IMO for a strap that stays on for a long time (better for a temporary change of style), but there don't seem to be many other options out there. Maybe Watchacc or TWB or Don but I don't have any feel for the quality and don't want to spend the money and end up disappointed.
Cheers!
Have a couple of GSD straps and they are great http://www.gregstevens-design.com/mega-gallery.html
Lots of people will be lining up a Toshi-strap (do a seach for Toshi) for example http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...i-on-my-PRS-20
Must admit I'm as keen as mustard on this one.
They tend to be straight cut, don't they? That is, the same width at the buckle as at the lugs.
26/26 width are pretty easy to get hold of - I'd probably go for a Toshi if I was looking for a straight cut strap of that width. But a 26/22 width strap seems a bit more rare. Any suggestions for that?

I'll be looking at either www.toshi-straps.co.uk or more likely www.vintagerstraps.com
The Mausers that Micah (Vintager) does are stunning and I think will suit this one perfectly.
I think both of these guys will only do 26/26mm though - I am happy to be corrected but I don't think they do tapered straps...

DC - I just checked with Micah at Vintager and he does make tappered straps.
I'm quite tempted with a Micah in a tapered width (I find 26/26 width can mean the buckle looks enormous - more like a bottle opener)! I've always liked the French Canvas - been meaning to get one for my PAM but I need to have a strap clear-out for that watch first as I have too many that I never wear.
Problem is that I fancy something less rugged and more smart for this watch - and Micah's crocs are near OEM Panerai price at USD 250. I was thinking of prices more around USD100-USD150.
I'll have a look at Orloff.
Cheers
This could be an option too: http://maliostraps.com/vintage/asso.html
This one will be next, probably next week.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Any idea how many in the first run - really want one of these but spent this months frivolity fund on a camera so I'll have to wait until Junes pay day!

Ohhhh now I am excited
I can't wait to see this one.
Good time for the Canadian dollar to take a nose dive..... arrgh!

Fantastic
Thursday was a religious holiday in Germany so shipping was delayed :-(. Blame the church.

For some reason this one has me very, very interested.
That looks great!
You sly old dog Eddie, showing us that fantastic photo. These'll sell like hot cakes!
Hopefully this will be a first of many for me. Is it a mad scramble when it's released or is there a waiting list?
