El Primero gone, IWC 3231 on order

Sold my vintage EP to outatime thanks to everyone who showed an interest in the watch despite me not even advertising it formally. Hope your really happy with it Omar.

Pretty sure it won't be my last zenith and I'm missing it already but the offer was too good to refuse.

Ordered a new vintage aquatimer from iconic watches this evening to ease the pain haha though its not as pretty it's got serious presence and I have fancied a top end divers watch for a while.

Going to be a long 3 weeks wait for it...

    Pete,

Omar is a lucky man! I'd of loved to have it if you'd been up for a trade.

    Pesky vintage Aquatimer ;)

Looks great though, looking forward to some pics in three weeks!

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Thanks guys.

Rob I was tempted but it's my local jewellers fault. They have a vintage in stock and it suckered me in after a test drive!

I really want to get a croc or alligator strap to dress it up a bit.

There are lots of brown around (don't want black) but I really fancy burgundy. Any suggestions for sensible money?

Checked out cousins but they don't do the right colour in th right size.

I like the toshi straps but they can be a bit too chunky for my chicken wrists.

Nice watch, if you can carry of a 44mm watch, you surely don't have chicken wrists

No I'm skinny as hell 6.5inch joints but screw it haha, it'll hopefully look more tasteful than bling!

Didn't look overly big in the dealers when I tried it on.

I have a navitimer on NATO which is pretty eye catching...

Thanks mate, the zenith was amazing had no intention of selling it until offers came in from left field.

I think I have a thing for vintage styles. Got an old gold rotary and late 70s marina deluxe, plus navitimer and speedie pro for th retro look, with a g shock and the brietling I have on SC at the moment.

Thanks, how do you find yours?

Do you use the rubber strap or have you fitted something else? I really want a nice dress strap to alternate with the rubber.

Watch was due this week but NO - got an email from ancient&modern today saying the supplier got the wrong watch.

Waiting to hear now if it'll be another 3-4 week wait.

    V. annoying!

Just in time for Christmas then! Better buy yourself an advent calendar, it'll be like being a kid again. Both great watches btw.
