    Your realistic wish-list - 3 watches only

    I'll start...

Omega SM300 (original, not new build)
    Rolex "Paul Newman" Daytona
    Heuer "Siffert" Autavia

Keep it to watches that you not only aspire too but actually intend to own one day...

(Edit: I could have included the JLC Master Calendar or even the PC 8 Days, but I did say three!)

You know what mate, I've tried every watch I've ever wanted to, so am pleased to be able not to put together an answer to the question.

    short term:

    - Yobokies Albacore SCWF Limited Edition watch (Tuna Clone with automatic movement)
    - Smiths 6105 Homage from our host
    - whatever will caught my attention on sc

    long term:
    - Seiko 6159-7010 600m Automatic Tuna
    - Seiko 6159-7001 300m (wishful thinking )
    - Rolex Sub (one day I'll try one and would prefer a matt dial)

  20. #20
    - Dornblueth (a custom build)

    - Speake-Marin Serpent Calendar

    - McGonigle http://www.mcgonigle.ie/tourbillon/

The last one may take a bit longer to acquire ;)

I've a hankering to chip in a few more casual pieces for a really special dress watch, hence the first two, which are either or btw.

It's just a matter of time...

I'm a man of simple tastes and limited funds available solely for watches. So my top three are all classics, and seemingly as rare as hens teeth on the used market (2 of the 3 are now discontinued):

Junghans Max Bill mechanical, model 027/3701.00
The white dialed version of the Seiko Gen 1 7A28 aircrew chrono (even better would be the 7A38 powered version)
    Zeno Explorer

I could go on with my reasons behind these choices, but once i start i fear i will still be typing after several pages of random fawning and flattery towards these 3 very different watches...

  40. #40
    Rolex Sea Dweller 1220m

    Original Omega SM300

    Original PloProf.

    and as 2 Omegas already a MM300

I'm actually very happy with my current SOTC. The only thing missing for me at the moment is a Heuer, so will likely have one as my next purchase

    Rolex Sea Dweller,
IWC 379103, a slim possibility but still a possibility.
Tissot Sea Touch, when they update the LCD screen to blue like the Sailing Touch, (I assume they will).

In the semi-real world of expensive, but not stratospheric watches, the following three are gnawing away at me (to the point of me considering trading others to fund one).

GO Senator Perpetual Calendar - new style, ss, black dial
JLC Perpetual 8 days - new style, ss
Lange 1 - rg, silver dial

Any one of these would do me fine.

    Ok if it was within the realms of possablity and only 3, removing all my current watches;

Omani blue bezel rolex 1675 with red hand ( i almost went 5510/1680, however i'd need another with gmt then...)
JLC Deep Sea Chrono, the modern one, not the 2 register
Hublot big bang for everything else or even a pelagos, just something solid for larking around!

Hmmm, i dont have 3 with a realistic chance of acquiring at the moment, but i have some funds set aside for

    - Omega Seamaster 120m 'Mayol Record'
    - Doxa 1200t pro

If i have a windfall, add a Mark Iv Explorer II to the list.
